I got a 2 minute kick for /killing too many times on the server today, no need for that, needs to be taken out.

I think it should stay. Don't /kill like a wussy and you won't be kicked. Sniper? Don't /kill, go to the forward bunker and ask for ammo. Gets annoying with stat whores /killing and ruining the game for others. I know my opinion don't matter but here it is anyway.

Actually /killnig is important because if you know how to Panz, you should know that you need to time your deaths to make sure you use all your lives in a given round. For instance my situation ended up being that i had 11 lives and 5 minutes left in the game, therefore i was going to use them in order to get more panz shots off, but hten i got kicked. Also you should /kill to make spawn, but whatever. Most people don't realize their is more to the game then shooting.

I do know how to panz. I do believe that's about the only thing i can do half right. As i said before, go find an lt like any other class and ask for ammo. There is no excuse for /killing. It's wussy senseless crap. No offense to you.

agreed, you have something like 40 points before you get kicked, its just plain dumb to /kill all the time. Just die like a man

It's not the point of /killing to avade deaths on my stats, its the point that I can shoot my panzer, throw all 4 nades, and /kill and catch the next respawn and shoot again if i have the lives left. I honestly could care less about stats, my goal for panzing is to kill as many people in one round as possible, not to /kill to avade getting deaths on my stats lmao.

How fair does that make it for the other 40 or so players on?
Tue Jan 03, 2006 4:44 am
i'm not a /kill person so i like the rule
Tue Jan 03, 2006 5:27 am
Just throw 3 nades and save the 4th for yourself. Either that or run in front of a team-mate, you are pretty sure to get tked

there ya go, or jump from the upper. that'll do it

Go for a goomba

I'll explain this a little better...
Players gain TK points for every teammate they kill. At 100 TK points the player is kicked. You can check how many points you have with the !tklist or !info commands.
Now you don't just keep gaining TK points. You also lose 2 TK points for every enemy you kill. You also lose the TK points when you revive the teammate you killed.
Here's how the points are configured.
You gain 5 TK points for each TK with the following weapons.
Airstrike
Artillary
Dynamite
Grenade
MG42
Panzer
You gain 10 TK points for each TK with the following weapons:
Flamethrower
Venom
Thompson
MP-40
Sten
You gain 15 TK points for each TK with:
Colt
Luger
Sniper Rifle
Knife
/kill's give you 20 TK points
So you can sorta "earn" a /kill after 10 kills, since you lose 2 TK points per enemy killed. This way /kill's aren't totally done away with, but it does eliminate it's abuse.
