In my league I run with my personal friends, last year we did Head-to-Head, and the year before that we did Rotisserie. I thought, and everyone agreed, Head-to-head is way better. That's the way to go.

You bring up a valid point DNK, but I'm not sure you take it far enough. Baseball Really sucks maybe? A working theory of mine is that nobody actually likes baseball at all, and its just a giant inside joke to confuse foreigners.
