These f**** people are out ruin everything good in the world. I wish the promoter and companies would have some sack and draw a line in the sand. Pretty soon the American Taliban will be ruling that women can't wear bikinis at the beach.

"The handbook from the Entertainment Software Association, the show's promoter, says: "Material, including live models, conduct that is sexually explicit and/or sexually provocative, including but not limited to nudity, partial nudity and bathing suit bottoms, are prohibited on the show floor, all common areas, and at any access points to the show.""

The promoter is the one instituting the change. The companies... well, there's still a lot of room left in those regs. I'm not surprised in the least, the game industry has been trying to expand its audience and get rid of the image that video games are just the purview of 13-25 yr old loser boys. It was bound to happen as computer gaming became more mainstream.

I would love to see the wonderful ladies that caused such a rift in the regulations at E3.

Screw that, it's political pressure. They're scared that the flap over GTA San Andreas is going to lead to some form of legislature that costs them real money. They've been trying to get girls into the game for years, I don't think they suddenly removed booth babes this year because of that. Besides, the image of sexy women doesn't drive women away, look at the way Britney Spears and others are marketed: they are targeted for women/girls, yet they made to be sexy as possible. Same with action heroes in movies, they aren't afraid of driving men away from movies because the hero is muscle bound and doesn't wear a shirt for a half the movie.
Like I say, this is the promoters afraid of the backlash from congress, and I guess they probably should be, it's an election year for many in congress and everyone loves to have something to crow about--"Elect me, I'm fighting for family values, I knocked the stuffing out of those evil video game companies with their sexy women and gratuitous violence" blah blah blah

I guess women do belong in the kitchen. Men are to stupid to figure out how to turn the stove on. You seem to think there is only one temp and that's high. You shitbricks would walk around in dirty clothes if we didn't do your laundry. It's not that we care, we don't wanna be embarrassed of you in public. You don't brush your hair, you seem to think a baseball cap will do. Instead of taking a shower you just throw more deodorant on to try to cover the smell..NEWS FLASH..we can still smell you. I bet some of your wives or girlfriends pick out your clothes due to the fact that men are not color co-ordinated.The only thing you men are good for is bringing home the pay check, mowing the lawn and taking out the trash. When it comes to sex we can handle that without you..I hope they ban swimsuits and make women wear those moomoo tent dresses on the beach. Maybe you would appreciate women more than just looking at them like a piece of meat or melons. Sexist pigs!!!!!!
