PunkBuster
Hello everyone, I encountered a problem right now while play BF2. I don't know why, but I was talking to my cousin on Xfire. I was at the city server and it says stuff about a PBCL. Can someone help me? And it seems that I am not the only one being kicked.

Twister have you install any new programs, such as memory
debuggers or some thing like that?

"My game crashes with an error in pbcl.dll or a General Protection Fault. Why?
This issue can be from a program that conflicts with PB. There are a few known program that cause this:
Get Right
DU Super Controler
Macro Toolsworks
Girder 3.2
PRTG Traffic Grapher
MS Office: ctfmon.exe (rarely)
CyberCorder: cybrcrdr.exe
Paessler Router Traffic Grapher: prtg4.exe
3dnasys.exe
mIRCStats
Closing those programs, or any like them that contain user or kernel level debuggers should stop the problem."

Nope I don't think so, might be another program. But not any of the ones listed.Originally posted by BladeRunner

Might just be a PunkBuster update that is going bad.
[ECGN] S3rialRapist was kicked just a few minutes ago on
the city server. Try joining again, maybe PB will get itself
updated.

Try some other PunkBuster enabled non ECGN server and
see if you get kicked. The City server is almost empty,
i don't know if they quit or got kicked though.

It is a server issue.
The servers have not updated and the clients have.
The new version is 1.227 and the old version that the server is running, is 1.225 (from yesterday).
I keep getting kicked too.
