this is just a suggestion for those Lts who dont know what to do why they are waiting for their bar to recharge. Try shooting someone every once in a while. If you dont, Im gonna end up finding you hiding in a corner somewhere, and ill end up shooting you. See how that works:D as for those people who are obsessed with their kill ratio....dont be. I find out that the people who have the highest kill ratios are the guys whom only play defense or are snipers, and maybe a combination of both. they usually throw as many strikes in high traffic areas as they can, and then hide in corners where allies come running by, and then proceed to to turn their backs into swiss cheese. they really have no skill or talent. just cheap play. please dont take offense to my comments, im just stating my observations. END OF RANT.

I don't know zog, I've been playing on this server for about 3.5 months now, and I like it how it has been. Sure you get blown up a lot on allies, but if you have guys on allies laying smoke too, it is lessened.
Since shrubmod got put on and stats come up 24/7beach is the best on the net IMO. I don't think it needs DRASTIC tweaking, as you said in an earlier post I believe....
Maybe lengthen the time to 120, and if that doesn't help then try 240 and if that doesn't work, go to 120 with no bar, then 240 with no bar... if people still bitch and moan, try limiting the number of LTs as you say.
I'll probably still play the beach though with my nonskill-having sniveling-coward in a dank-n-dark hole that is my gaming environ...
I know, let's take off the panzer limit!!!!

Hey, no offense taken dawg... My KR is about 1.5 or something... but, if I purposely killed myself just to throw strikes, it would be much lower...
And I know what you mean about people who are obsessed with the KR... most people with really high ones do nothing but throw strikes and hide, anybody who has speced me knows I don't do this. I try to airstrike people first, nade them second and then shoot them (just to be sure).
Taking my beloved bar away just wrecks my style of play, that's all. On axis, I spawn, give out a couple ammo, throw a strike and then start hunting, usually ending my life by diving headlong into the allied advance... if I manage to survive my forays into allies I go downstairs and hand out some ammo to my team.
On allies, I hand out some ammo to me then my team, throw a strike to try to cover my buddies, then dive towards the stairs (usually to be cooked by a flamer, or ventilated by some duct troll) With more charge time, I could still play a similar style, is that so wrong? Maybe I'm not as skillful as some, but hey, I do OK.
Besides, my screen shakes too much to hit as much as you do Edogg, your aim is chemically enhanced, I suspect... unisol program?

I voted leave as it is or go subtle changes per zog....I always loved throwing air strikes and I'm not dying every 2 seconds ...but hey do I have a chance to keep it as is......whatever happens I'll be there for a gun battle

Your right. But it's the regulars that make the server. You guys are good enough to come to this website and post and talk amongst each other. It makes it not just a server, but a community.
The members of this community have a lot more influence on what goes on with the server than some everyday Wolfplayer.

about the ltn's throw airstrikes/die/ throw anyother one...
if you push /kill it wont infect ya kill ratio... if you do this you can reach kill ratio's of over 100
and if your lives are up just disconnect for a minute and restart...

Ok, so I'm not a regular on the 24/7 beach server. I had tried it a handful of times a while back, and THE reason i didn't keep coming back was the Airstrike issue. Seemed like the entire time I was there, the whole map was nothing but strike explosions, and lots of smoke...for more incoming explosions. Was a huge turn-off for me. If the charge time were changed, I'd be happy to come back an try 'er out again. :-) I voted for the 120sec charge time, 1/8 for ammo, 1/2 for nade option.

believe me fodder, when you come here the first few times it is hell... it seems to be 1000 airstrikes... butthat's just because you aren't used to it... but belive me, once you get used to it you wont even give them attention the airstrikes... and you learn fast to block them

No-one can ever "get used to" being blasted 17 straight times coming out of the front bunker. The 4 second invulnerability helps, but when the Axis Queens are spawning, running from their spawn ppoint and simply heaving air strike cannisters at every occupied (and unoccupied) spot on the map it's ridiculous.
How about this...no spawn invulnerability for the Axis Queens! I see when they come running out of that lower spawn, still invulnerable and heaving cannisters down the stairs like snot-nosed PlayStation brats.
The Allies have to survive the Air Strike Boob Brigade's assault through the trenches, then the stairs up to the lower bunker, then the ladder to the upper bunker. After that things seem fair, but 9 times out of 10 the Allies end up wasted by some lazy LT Axis Queen who's conveniently hiding or been killed by then because of his lack of skill or desire to do anything after he's heaved his load.

no invulnerability is not good i think but a sec or 2 less would be a good solution i can imagen the allied flamer killing all the axis
