Do you, or anyone else, know what she meant by that? I'm fairly certain I know what it means and I'll post what I think after I hear from a few others. For the sake of conversation.

Bored here on a Monday afternoon. I took off from work today.

The peasents of france had no bread, nay, no food. Marie Antionete was a princess of 10 years old or so and she uttered "let them eat cake" yada yada yada
Leave my family out of this trash or i am coming for you.

What I meant was, do you know what she meant? What was she saying they could eat? What was she referring to as, 'cake?'
Mon Feb 13, 2006 12:10 pm
well, i doubt the people who had no bread could really eat cake, which she probably meant in the literal sense. She meant cake but the people no food, slap in the face....
Mon Feb 13, 2006 12:19 pm
Well, what I got from somewhere.. I don't remember where I heard it but.. Here goes.
'Cake' is what is left over in the pan after you bake bread in it. It's the burnt residue stuck to the pan.
She was a mean, heartless bitch apparently.

off with her head then.
