Intel and Skype

Basically Skype rigged it so that some of its advanced features like 10-way conference calls will only run on Intel processors. There is no technical reason for this.

Heh, Intel won't gain anything as I don't see too many people suddenly swapping out their processors, motherboards and possibly ram or buying a new system just to run Skype. More than likely they'd just not use Skype. Skype is more likely to lose potential sales as most people who are willing to try out VOIP are enthusiasts; many of which use AMD. Although I am sure Skype got a nice chunk of change to play with.
