1. Has had a 'heat warp' bubble on the very top (sat next to something REALLY hot, while being flown off the carrier via H-53)
2. Cable bracket was snapped off by a Charter contractor. Meaing if i move the TV for cleaning i have to give it the ole "reach around" and play with the coax cable so the 'volume will return'
So i was considering getting something dual purpose. I'd like to game and start a small multi-media station with a DDR setup. I've been mulling the idea of an 26" HDTV LCD. I dont have the the funds to get something larger also I'd rather have it portable than mounted on a wall (needing a 2 person lift).
Certain people tell me that the quality of this 26" Tv will be less than what, i get with my current LCD. Others tell me that yea the image might be 'streached' since its a being displayed on a larger surface, it's quality non the less will be "awesome".
Currently the game i play now (BF2) isn't supported for widescreen but i'm thinking of the future and wondering if games will soon have this ability/function?
Looking for any first hand experiences..

I';ve seen a 50 inch CRT before at college.Originally posted by cavalierlwt
A CRT monitor is great, but for dual use (as a TV too) there's one problem: getting a 26" monitor is bit rough. Anything beyond 19" gets expensive and *heavy/bulky*
I don't know if I've even seen monitors that were 26". I've seen tube based HDTVs that are that big though.
