I swear our water board has to be the shitest in the world. One of the rainiest countries in the world but they can't sore enough of it IN WINTER to have enough for hosepipes....

It's the same thing around my area. It seems like it rains all year long, then when summer comes they all scream "drought" and they start odd/even outdoor water usage days. WTF !

Like chacal said it's a garden hose, you buggers just leave out the pipe bit. Incidentally pipe is just a generic term for a tube you can pass stuff through, there's nothing that says it has to be solid.
