Off topic, but don't go too far overboard - after all, we are watching...heh.

If we were subjected to the same torture and brutality as the iraqi people and we had a few hundred thousand children die in this country, I believe we might welcome such a liberation. But also remember in this same fantasy world pigs have wings and Wild Turkey flows freely in streams and rivers!

Sure. Flourine in the water is the same thing as raping and killing a woman in front of her husband.

Every time BloodBoob posts I gain even more certainty in my position.

There was an interview with an iraqi family on NBC that I missed. I was told that these people said the same thing as this woman on the radio. The proof seems to be building! and building, and building.

I liked the pop-up ad where it gave me the weather forecast.

LoL. This war is worth it, but will have a large loss count. I support bayotanzk in his patriotism.

Thanks, wish we did not have to do it on land. But, now or later, it was unavoidable. Does make me mad though when I hear that we are targeting civilians, b/c if we wanted to do that we would load up the B 52s with letf over WWII bombs and carpet bomb, not use 1 million dollar bombs ( or how much these high tech bombs cost).

Just take a look at the MOAB. I wonder how much alone one of those cost the US government.

Fri Apr 04, 2003 1:09 am

moab is not really as expensive as you might think. they push it out the back of a c-130.

Fri Apr 04, 2003 1:31 am

When did the US start "targeting" civilians?

Fri Apr 04, 2003 9:09 am

I believe it is a bunch of crap that was statred by forign press and then found it's way into the liberal media. Kind of like being "politically" correct, but with regard to a military action.

Sun Apr 06, 2003 2:34 am

Oops. I guess I misunderstood your earlier statement. I must've thought you were saying that, not that you were just commenting on the obvious lie that we're intentionally bombing civilians.

I love the footage and reports of Iraqi civilians cheering Allied forces as they move through.

Doug, we are, at the cost of American lives, sparing the iraqi civilian population. It is a fact that this is costing our forces lives. The press, liberal, like of CNN folks are going to great lenghts to tell of iraqi civilians killed. It is refreshing to see something posted to show that the people of iraq are happy in most instances to see the Coalition forces. We have not been met by any real major force in strength for a good while. And the forign press is killing us, I mean those folks are brutal. I sent my Alcotel (sp) french made DSL back to bellsouth for another model and they did it for free!
