Miller Park has the retractable roof. But alas its fricken april in Wisconsin and its rarely nice outside so it shall be closed for another month. (not sure if it's a league rule but if the game starts with the roof open it has to stay open all game or if its closed it needs to stay closed all game).

Also you god-damned cubs/cards fans can sux a turnbow fastball. This is NOT your 'other stadium', i sincerly hope they get more Brewer fans for the games that you jackholes normally swamp the stadium. Kinda a double edged sword when they raise the ticket prices on those games....yea you'll still get the out of towners, but now your making it worse on your own teams fans.

Anyways 3-0 bitches...

Man Sox that looked like a sweet opener. Off topic but in 04 I was at the home opener for the Lions in detroit, that was pretty sweet.

Indians/Twins game looks like it isn't happening. At 4 it is supposed to start raining and not stop until much later that night. Game starts at 3.

Ok here goes... here are some pics from the new Busch Stadium. Opening day is on Monday, i have tix to wednesday's game against the brewers... i will definitely post some of those pics too.

Here is from behind home plate looking at the St. Louis skyline which you couldn't see before:

Here is looking out of the new stadium and you can see where the old stadium was just last november:

In the main lobby in the Home Plate entrance they had a endangered birds info set up by some local group with two Bald Eagles. Here is a snap i took of one:

God I love baseball and can't wait to see some games this year.
