Off topic, but don't go too far overboard - after all, we are watching...heh.

Now I know some of you are Colbert fans, but it also helps if you watch every episode because he often refers to previous segments so you can miss out on a lot of stuff, but tonight did anyone see the Heinz segment?
Basically Heinz opened up
http://www.myheinz.com where you can personalize Heinz labels to your own fashion. Colbert made his "why do you hate our soldiers", and he ran the URL on the television. By doing this he has crashed another website because so many people rushed to the website...if you noticed you'll find
http://www.myheinz.com down still because of Colbert. Crashing John and Teresea Kerry's website has to be the funniest thing the guy has done yet. I'm in love with Stephen Colbert.

dude is a tard, any program on television, can crash any website, if they aren't prepared for the traffic, put
http://www.ecgnetwork.com, as advo say on 1 number hit show, server would be slow and die........genius I think not, now Howard Stern, thats genius

Similar thing happened when he talked about Wikipedia. He changed two entries, one for his own name and one about African elephants (I think), just to make a point. A lot of people followed suit and the site bogged down to a crash.

What a moron. Giving him a show is like giving a loaded pistol to a toddler. RIP responsible journalism.
That's probably a criminal offense in the US because it's a DDOS attack and it's on purpose. As there's ample evidence, a call to the DA should get this asshole in prison. Of course the victims should then sue for several million.

What crawled up Slaughter's ass and died?

He never changed the wiki article, if you watch the segment he spends less than 20 seconds on his laptop. THere is no way he could have actually logged in, edited an entry, and saved it in 20 seconds.
Also Colbert is not a journalist, he is a comedian, much like most of Fox news.
Thirdly it is not a DDOS. Driving traffic to a website is not a DDOS. It is similar to the slashdot effect, or the Fark effect. Send a million eyes to most websites in an hour and they die.

This is the best part about the Cobert Report. People actually think it is an attempt at real journalism. I do agree the victims should sue. This country kissed responsible civil law goodbye years ago.
It is just a comedy show on a channel called "Comedy Central".
The biggest joke of all is saying FOX, NBC, ABC and CNN are actually places to find responsible journalism.
If anyone thinks this is a bad thing for Heinz you are crazy. The amount of attention this has brought to their website is probably beyond anything they ever expected. Now they can charge more for advertising on it.
O and the only thing Genies about Stern. He found a way to suck money out of immature adults that never get tired of fart jokes and such.

I think you may misunderstand the premise of the show. He's not really conservative, he just does the show as this hardcore right-wing character. It airs on Comedy Central, not Fox News or anything. You should watch his speech at the White House correspondents dinner. You'd probably end up being a fan Chacal.

They had no idea what they were doing when they had him give that speech, LOL.
He flat out burned that place to the ground!! Bush looks like he wants to kill him.

Oh that guy.
It's still a DDOS though, when done on purpose.

Not having map rotation on rtcw has him a little butt hurt.

It's no more on purpose than when Slashdot (or any news agency) does a story about a web site or blog. Colbert wasn't purposely trying to crash Wiki, he was doing a bit about wiki and people went there. That's not irresponsible in any way. If wiki's servers couldn't handle a surge, then the fault lies with them.

its not that B, never will happen, just kill it already, I just can't stand a dude who waste my time, damn I have to click my remote right past his sorry ass, crashing websites woo hoo such fun, just sayin'
