Off topic, but don't go too far overboard - after all, we are watching...heh.

Props to the soul who can name the music in the intro...

O Fortuna from Carmina Burana originally by Carl Orff.

or at least a remix of said song

Latin:

semper crescis
aut decrescis
vita detestabilis
nunc obdurat
et tunc curat
ludo mentis aciem

English:

ever waxing
and waning
hateful life
first oppresses
and then soothes
as fancy takes it.

has to be a fake.. making it disappear is too convenient.
I don't trust any photage anymore with modern video editing technology that people can implement from thier bedrooms.

That's a Bird-of-Prey.....the cloaking feature is obvious.

Make it so ->

Sayntfuu was correct in naming the song, and good work digging up those Latin lyrics. I'm hoping you didn't know them off the top of your head.

Lyrics in Latin sound so damn serious. They could be singing about nose picking and party favors and I'd think it was eloquent.

No I didn't know them off the top of my head, but I do have them bookmarked as I listen to it all the time and like to read along.

I wish I had that version of the song though. Any clue who did that rendition?

Thu Sep 07, 2006 9:37 am

I'd like to know that myself. I downloaded about 14 other versions, but none were quite as well done as the version included in that clip.

If I find it, I'll let you know.

And by the way, the video is faked. There are no space aliens visiting Nanjing, China and there are no secret government military weapons capable of anything that cartoonish.

Nanjing is one of the world's largest cities, over 6 million people there, and only one video of this thing? *ahem*.

UFO believers = dope smoking pre-pubes.

Pfft I'll stick with the original myself. I thought that version was wank

My girlfriend is Chinese, and she told me what the people in the video are saying;

"Daddy, do you really think Americans are stupid enough to believe this crap?"

"Why yes, Miagi, Americans are morons. They'll believe anything to relieve them from their daily stupor."

"Are we going to take over the world, Daddy, from the fat, decadent stupid Americans"?

"Ha, ha, ha son. Oh so right you are. And this obviously faked video is proof.

you kidding me? I was caught on tape...doh. :wall:

Yeah so, I was late getting home the other day, so I ended up taking the company car. Little did I know it wasn't a car. After a few seconds I ended up in china. Eventually I managed to stop and ask for directions, then I was on my merry way. Sorry to disrupt everyone. :D

Remember, you didn't see anything...
