Wash [as Stegosaurus]: Yes. Yes. This is a fertile land, and we will thrive. We will rule over all this land, and we will call it… "This Land."
Wash [as Allosaurus]: I think we should call it "your grave"!
Wash [as Stegosaurus]: Ahh! Curse your sudden but inevitable betrayal!
Wash [as Allosaurus]: Har har har! Mine is an evil laugh! Now die!
[The Allosaurus attacks the Stegosaurus.]
Wash [as Stegosaurus]: Ohhh, no, God! Oh, dear God in heaven!

I don't think using the word nicked is all that unusual...I think american english is perhaps a bit more straight forward then english...There's alot of sayings in england that aren't all that unusual to say. It's just that if you were to say nicked or brilliant or something else it would just be awkward, seem like you were trying to be smart or something... :P

It's just culture. The way you are brought up seeing and doing things. Like in the Islam religion they are tought and used to polygomy where elsewhere it would be very strange. Hygene can also be compared between different cultures.

Americans=obsesively clean
Brittish/european=normal in oppinion

It's just the way you percieve things that effects how you view other people as being wierd or different.

Sorry im geting carried away but in the case of the vikings who went civilization to civilization stealing and luting places. People who saw them in certain parts of europe thought there hair was on fire because they had red hair and they had never seen anyone with red hair...

:lol:
