PS3 whos getting it?

Just courious to see who is getting this unit? Anyone got a prepurchase and guaranteed one in november? Anyone have any unique plans for getting one when they hit the stores? I am getting one for sure but I am not going to pay over list price for it. I would love to get one the day they hit the stores but not sure what it takes to do that.

Damn I wish I would have got in on some of that action. 2 hours left on the $1,625 so who knows where it will end up.

i play my ps2 maybe 2 hours a week at most and since i dont have a high def tv i dont think ponying up 600 just for the unit would be a good idea. i might do a camp out to get one and sell it if I thought I could get it

If I see one in the store at or shortly after release I will get one just to eBay the piece of shit.

Well my Denon DVD2800 has been giving me trouble lately so I was thinking of buying the new denon DVD3920Ci but I feel like I can get the PS3 and get the enjoyment of the console but also get HD DVD's. The probs I have had with my 2800 are all video. It will still be my choice for any audio media. That is the justification I have done in my head and you cant talk me out of it LOL.

I use my PS2 usually 1 week out of the year . Thats when I am on vacation at the beach. So I do not see myself spending that much on a new gaming system for 1 week usage. Just my opinion though.

IF i bought one, i'd wait a while until all the kinks are worked out. I bought a 360 and the piece of shit crapped out within 3 hours of use.

Sony is going to have to sell one to every kid in North America, Africa and Europe just to break even... and i love it.

How about you can't play HD DVD's on a PS3?

It can play BR discs, which right now looks to be the loser in the HD format wars.

The launch titles are shit... and all i want is some damn SSX on 720/ 1080p...

Already got my pc right next to my hdtv.. so i have been playing all the pc games on it since last summer... so HA!

Ps, supreme commander looks/ feels/ and plays awesome on it...
