Ha, yeah I remember that one. Between that and mortal kombat the ESRB got it's start. Lethal Enforcers was my favoriate game for the CD. The blue revolver gun made it.

I was one of the three people that owned a SegaCD specifically so that I could play three games: Ecco the Dolphin (the CD version), Sonic CD (best Sonic game ever made), and Snatcher (sounds like a porno, but a fantastic game made by Hideo Kojima of Metal Gear Solid fame).

Night Trap (the game in the link) and the original Mortal Kombat were the two games that were targeted by parent groups, Senator Lieberman, and many other anti-video game crazies as being so violent, sexist, offensive, and dangerous for children to be playing that they were yanked from many game shelves across the US. Because of those two games specifically, the ESRB was created believe it or not.

Now, knowing this... go back and watch the video clip again. Yeah. Video games are evil.

Dana Plato of Diff'rent Strokes fame was the star of that game.

This has been yet another Useless Fact.

I have a friend that has gone crazy collecting games and systems. He is 4 consoles short of having every one sold in the US. I think he has like 140 not including dupes.

Go here and click on "The Collector" this is something the Dallas Morning news did and features his collection.
