Beach map change

and i have NO problems running this map... even less then playing the old beach with all the airstrikes...

i've games with 60% accuratie where i killed about 9 Running people... from the other side of that LONG map and you can't do that with lag...

i must say it IS thru that sometimes you get a "lag punch" or how it's called and then the game stucks for a seconds and then just continues normally...

I don't think you can tell people what is or is not happening on there computer. I have the same issue Edogg and others are talking about. With a 2.4ghz p4 and 1 gig of ram.

Oh my gosh.... I played OC48 because it was beach (BEACH!) 24/7..... now it's real Beach 12/7..... I'm kinda peeved. I wish ya'll would have a seperate server for "experimental" maps. I'm just glad there's a place I can voice my opinion about this. For now, I am not "jolly" about the decision. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE.... take it back to the way it used to be

I hardly log on anymore because I know I'm either gonna play 2 rounds of "fun" beach just to get to old beach again, or I'm only going to get two rounds of good beach before its "fun" beach's turn again. I hate it.

I don't even know what brought this about. I thought this was like a community where the people were heard or asked before a decision was made. One day I logged on and all of a sudden I didn't have the map I needed to play on OC. I was like "what the hell". And then to my shock when I finally loaded up the new level I'm like "geeze, whose newbie ass level is?" it doesn't have near the fluidity of a old beach and the pure action and strategy. It's a dyna-based map for God sakes! Cappin' the docs is SO MUCH more fun.

Is someone gettin' a little on the side from Marko? Makes one wonder.......

And one more thing while I'm on my anti-funbeach kick.

I think the fact that OC used to be Old Beach 24/7 is what set it apart from other servers. You can go anywhere and get some poorly-admined, unfairly-calibrated, regular map rotation. But when you come to OC48 you know you *could* expect the Beach, the whole Beach, and nothing but the Beach.

Now it just looks like some second-rate server trying out gay maps that they're buddies made last night.

yes, THANK YOU TO ALL WHO HAD A HAND IN THE MAP BEING SET BACK, ITS JUST TOO MUCH FUN TO STOP, and I get much better fps now

One question... is it switching between the beaches still or is it all beach now? I'm waiting for my new mainboard and cpu to get here so I haven't played wolf in a week

I don´t know if they are going to rotate the maps switching between the beach maps, I think it´s just going to be the original beach...:P

right now its original beach only, THE BEST! THE BEST SERVER THERE IS!!!!!!
