seems we are scattered all over the place.

everyone just needs to make a character and be the same race on the same server...make the race an orc

Odd thing happened on Thurs. I got a Thanksgiving present from my folks... Mom is getting into WoW because her DAOC crew is switching over, and she decided to get me a copy as well. Some kind of misguided revenge I think (I got her started on DAOC). Anyway, Just started out on Garona (cnetral) playing on both sides until I get an idea of what I like.

Doomy, since your playing in the central, jump on whisperwind. Thats where Im at.

Yes, it looks like many different servers for eve4ryone.

Why not decide on a server and race and everyone make a character there?

BTW, I think CompUSA has this for $40.00 right now.

No doomy, stay on Garona, that's where I am.

I am gonna stick with Garona as my primary. If I get into the game I may roll up some alts on another server.

Thoughts on abilities and etc for a meat shield warrior? I didn't play the beta so I am kinda wandering around and exploring options.

Hey are you all still playing this? I am interested in trying WoW. Is it really that good? I understand an expansion pak is about to be released.
If I try the free 10 day trial, I see that you get to install the full version of the game. The install is free I assume? Then why would I buy the retail version at the store?
Also, What is the deal with the different servers? Once I join a specific one, I cannot switch around? What if I later find out I know people on another server?

Sorry for all the questions but I am really seriously considering starting to get into this game and to download the free trial.

If you value your life outside of your PC, stay FAR away from WoW Its very fun and addicting.

Let us know once you do start it so we will not expect to see you on any of the ECGN servers for a very long time

Wow a thread about WoW and five first posters Welcome all. You guys might be able to use the ECGN vent server to organize a place to play. I am not sure if everyone would be happy about that. (since you won't be gaming on and ECGN server) Still would be a place to meet and get in a server then log off the vent server.
