Off topic, but don't go too far overboard - after all, we are watching...heh.

Besides why wouldn't they develop a missile to remove sattelites. I mean maybe if you didn't use the sattelites to routinely spy on other sovereign nations at leisure...
Hey, I don't blame the Chinese. If I was the Chinese government, I would do everything in my power to ensure my country was the greatest.
I'm just saying that the US (as the biggest bully on the block) must, and will continue to do, everything to ensure they stay that way. That's the game... King of the Hill! Get on top... Stay on top!

The world is changing, and it's difficult to accept things. 40 years ago techological knowledge, computing power, and material technology was in the hands of just a few nations, and was very expensive. Each decade goes by and the knowlege (how things work) becomes commonplace. the computing power gets cheaper and more accessable, and material knowledge (the ability to make high tolerance items, special alloys, etc) also becomes commonplace. In 20-30 years anyone who is even remotely interesting in having nukes, missiles, a space program etc will have one, and this extends to groups, not just countries.
The genie is out of that bottle, it's pointless to waste too much time and effort trying to reverse progress. Best to accept it and prepare for the realistic future of things.

Which is generally accepted as every other nation with satellites does the same thing or spys in some other form. Staying on top is all about knowing what everyone is up to.

I'm not liking the way that the forum rule against political posts is waived if you post negativity towards the US.....

You're right. It started by making fun at a silly policy, and turned political. Better end it now.
