Man Ld that sounds like it was nasty, and same with chick! Thats why i could never have been a doctor or paramedic. I just can't imagine what it would feel like with a broken arm or leg just hanging by the skin. *chringes

I have never broken a bone in my body. And I don't know how I have avoided it. I do a lot of stupid things. I am that one always ready to do the dare or try the stunt. I am the one on the ski slopes going 60-feet off the jumps. Plays soccer at school and football with friends with no pads. I've had stitches 7 times and staples in my head once, but still yet to break bones. Ugh it must kill!

Sometimes there simply isn't enought time to get you upstairs into the OR, and we open you up right there in the emergency department.

And people piss and moan about waiting in the waiting room for 6 hours for their rash. You're waiting 'cause we're busy saving lives, asshat.
