Off topic, but don't go too far overboard - after all, we are watching...heh.

Rosie O'Donnell

As the forum rules say, don't take this to a political level, just whether or not her arguments (and engineering facts) have any merit. Read the comments though, they are the best part (but mildly offensive)

Ok as for the engineering facts about fire making building collapse...It can happen. All the fire has to do is get hot enough to be at or near the melting temperature of steel for the building to collapse.

Steel often melts at around 1370 degrees C (2500°F).

typical flames
Oxyhydrogen Flame (2000 °C or above)(3645 °F)
Bunsen Burner Flame (min. to max. setting) (1300 to 1600 °C)(2372 to 2912 °F)
Blowtorch Flame (1800 °C)(2370 °F)
Candle Flame (760 °C)(1400 °F)

As for the US consiperacy theory if 9/11 I say its just rediculous and stupid. If the american populous or even the world found out they did, there would be hell to pay and the american credibility would be shot.

The media comment, well I don't usually watch them, but when I do it seems that they never show all the facts or they get them wrong (not all the time, but it does happen). Local ones might be different, but if something happens in the world I'd probably go to CTV news then CNN. Again I don't watch so I culd be very wrong.

Finally about the US misleading the world about WMD's in Iraq and the link to 9/11...I'm still waiting for news about any found and the link. Its possible I could have missed the news cast how ever...

The United States of Tony has room. :D I won't brainwash ya. ;) Seriously I would love to smack Rosie. The first time in history steel has melted from fire. How the fuck did they make the steel then bitch. :) As for all the people who say bombs were planted in the buildings. This may be the case but their is not one ounce of evidence that the U.S. government did it. It might have been another twenty terrorist that put them their, FFS.

The only thing that bitch ever figured out was how to eat food and be a dyke. She had to take on a new challenge because starting a row w/ Trump failed. Notice how she laid low for a while then came out (no pun intended) swinging for the fences.

She needs to dig a hole, live in it, and remember the glory days when she wore skirts with Madonna and day-dreamed of eating her box.

BTW, I think lesbians are awesome. This is no rant against them. This is just a rant against a stupid person.

LoL she was making a relative amount of sense upto that point. Way to make the rest of your points irrelevant by taking it too far :)

Wow. Bravo man, bravo.

1) Steel is *always* melted by fire. Since man began working with metal, it's been metal+fire=metal bending.

2) melting is an ambiguous term. The steel didn't turn liquid, it just lost some tensile strenght and buckled. Railroad tracks get soft and buckle on extremely hot days, forcing the trains to run slower.

Man, grand conspiracy theories are exactly the same kind of crutch as religion is, they give people some sense of order to the world. It's scarier to live in a world where 19 douchebags with boxcutters can wreck the WTC, or a douchebag name Lee Harvey Oswald can kill the President of the USA.

Add to that the attraction of mystery, and the smug feeling of "knowing something the blind masses don't know".

Those people wouldn't change their minds if presented with hard evidence.

Your comparison with religion is correct.

Religion and polictics in one post. A double whammy of defiance?

No, the topic is Rosie O'Donnell. Let's not be paranoid here.

lol you compared religious people to conspiracy nuts and both of them to Rosie O'donnell. I'm having difficulty how you can get more offensive without the use of weaponry:D
