Confused about Vista??!!

So, does Vista run most games of today?
Do they Run well?Any Problems?Waste of Money??Because i have just bought Vista Premium and it aint come yet(whole package)but has anyone had ANY setbacks and major or minor problems with today's games??Whatdya Think of my system??--Comments Please--??

I am staying away from Vista at all costs. Its a graphics an memory hog. Plus it doesnt support SLI video card setups...

Vista doesn't like punkbuster.I know because my new computer runs vista and punkbuster keeps kicking me off the servers.So I bought Xp and have a duel os system that way I can use either when I want.

When your new copy of Vista arrives in the mail, write "return to sender" on the package and get your money back. I have Vista Ultimate on my desk top. It was a great computer. 2 Duo Processor 2.13Ghz 2 GB ram. But Vista just has problems running everything. I have to do a hard shut down a few times a week. Vista especially hates Outlook Expresss. 1 out of 5 times opening that program the computer locks up! If you use ITunes and an ipod, just forget about it! I would wait atleast a year.

The computer came with vista so that is why I'm having XP installed as well.That way I can still use XP now and Vista later.

Vista isnt even compatible with itself. Stick with XP till service pack 2

Is my processor to slow for R6V and others!!Because it says You need 3.0GHz and 3.5 Recommended and i'm worrying my Processor is too slow!!!

Don't get me started on Vista. I've been going back and forth with PunkBuster for a month. I FINALLY got to play RTCW a few times. I thought it would be nice since I havent playing in forever. It runs, but not very good. LOW FPS. Enemy Territory will run, but it seems laggy. And I am getting the less frames per second as I did my old system and card. Plus i'm running a smaller resolution. Figure that out. As for other games I havent tried any. Appliactions run better in Vista. But games run better in XP, from the problems I'm having.
