Crazy shit happening today. Everyone ordered to stay in rooms. Basically someone went around and opened fire in a dorm room, and later in a classroom.

Do the police down there carry guns???? I'll be very interested to know how one guy kills 20-30 people over a period of two hours,the cops should have been on him a hell of lot quicker than that. I'll take an early guess, maybe they surrounded the area and blocked it off--meanwhile this maniac goes on a killing spree, similar to Columbine.

The gunman had chained several of the doors shut from the inside in the education hall the police chief said at the press conference. They thought it was a single domestic incident. No one expected him to do this 2 hours later. Buli and I live a few hours away from VT. It is the only thing on the news all darn day. So sad.

Shocking to hear this happen again. And the sad part is theres basically nothing that can be done to prevent it. Reports say he was an asian, about 6 feet tall. I also heard he may have been Korean.

I can't begin to imagine what the next few monthes are going to be like for the family and friends of the deceased.

Well the first shooting seemed like an isolated incident. A person comes in then guns down two specific people within a dorm then flees. Seems like a typical murder. Then two hours later, on the other side of campus he goes in a killing spree inside a classroom. This wasn't a guy shooting his way from one place to another the entire two hours.
