need tech help

maybe its my computer but i downloaded the spiderman 3 game to try it out and when i boot it up the screen stays black but i can hear everything...is it my graphics card or did i mess up installing it

ok so i tested my computer against the min requirements, lol failed miserably...guess its time for an upgrade.
