This happened about 100 miles from where I (currently) live. Back in my paramedic days, I lived right outside the town where this happened and would have been one of the areas I responded to.

I'm glad the kid didn't get hurt ('cause then it wouldn't be so funny), but OMG this is hilarious!!

edit... if this was hancock, his dad would have sued the dept of transportation, the truck driver and the wheelchair maker...

Actually, that's a pretty impressive wheelchair - 2-4 miles at 50 miles per hour is a lot of abuse for a wheelchair...

I agree! And apparently they put new rubber on the thing, but heck, I hope they checked the wheelbearings and what-not, too.

I wonder if the kid switched it into neutral or something, too? I mean, if those gears were still turning at 50mph...better check those and the electric motor as well!

But can you imagine driving down the road and seeing a screaming guy in a wheelchair stuck to the front of a semi go flying by you at 50 mph? Holy shit! :lol:
