Off topic, but don't go too far overboard - after all, we are watching...heh.

I know you guys can help me out here. I am looking for a program that scans your computer and outputs a file containing detailed information on your hardware. I bought my CPU barebones with processor over two years ago, I am not sure what socket it is 754 or 939. Also other information could be real handy to me. Thanks smackers!

Belarc advisor isn't bad, but I don't know if it has super-detailed hardware info. For that, check out System Information by Topala Software Solutions.

Nice Yoop. Gives you the CD-Keys you're using for Windows, Office, even some games.
No install required, so it can run from a USB Drive.
Exports to an easy to read\navigate HTML file.
It even told me my cats hated the dry food I was feeding them. Amazing.
Here's the URL if anyone's interested;

In my former life I was a hacker.
Then again, maybe I still am...?

I'm often at a loss keeping track of the 200+ various machines on the dozen or so servers I maintain, especially their software.
I can run a script using this little gem to dump an HTML file of people's machines on a network drive, to be accessed by me later to figure out who has what copy of Office, what it's CD-Key is and other various hardware specs.
Me likey.

In Swahili, "melikey" means "I dropped my pubic hairs on the kitchen floor".

Whoa, whoa! I have plenty of crap you might find useful, too! If you asked me, I'd drop you some info.
How about my Microsoft Idiot Finder? It's just a mirror, actually, but I tell my clients it'll find the biggest problem with their computers in seconds. "At the speed of light!" I tell them.
Then there's the ZOGsoft Moron Defense Suite. It's a pair of heavy duty wire cutters, specifically designed to sever the power cord to any PC with a power supply up to 1000 Watt.,

I'd like to officially petition the forum for making this "Yooper's the Man!" Week here at <InsertRandomCompanyNameHere>.com.

I'll second the motion!
Oh, wait, can I do that?

I'll sign the petition, as long as April Fools day is celebrated as "Weasel Day"
