Had he been outside I really good have let the blood stream down his face and gotten a great pic, similar to my avatar. The blood was really flowing but since we were inside I just stopped the flow and had him lean back.

After the fact I got a pic. Good busted lip, got both the upper and lower.

I was playing with his brother and he decided to run as fast as he could behind me and just bashed his face right into the back of my head, hurt me a tad also but he caught the worst of it. Puffed up a bit also, he looked like a badass at Buffalo wild wings tonight.

with some injury photos that you will find here time is of the essence. The quicker you get the photo the better it is.

However many factors worked against me on this one.

1. I was alone with the children
2. It happened inside so I had to concern myself 1st with blood control.
3. It was a good gusher from both lips so i really had to keep the blood contained in the mouth and not on the floor.
4. It happened upstairs and both my SLR and my point and shoot are downstairs.

So immediately after it happened I had him sit back and ran for the box of kleenex. I had the bleeding stopped and sent his brother for booboo doggy. I applied booboo doggy for approx 2 mins to reduce swelling.

Took child downstairs where I then took photo at least 5-7 mins after. Like I said had I had the oppotunity to take one right after it happened the photo would have rivaled my avatar as it was a gusher!
