i normally use piratebay or mininova for my completely legal torrent activities, but they've been coming up short on a few things. anyone use other sites that might have what im looking for? specifically some big bad voodoo daddy albums (i own all of them!) any invites to sites would be awesomeeeee

You can try ' torrentspy.com' or ' torrentportal.com', I use them and they are pretty good.

TorrentSpy has blocked the US because they were ordered to log and share details of the visitors to their site. Cable companies have now been restricting the bandwidth available for P2P clients as well.

ares is running smooth, got some links to back that up Darknut, I usually don't use Ares that much anymore, google works for most now, just by doing deep searching could probably find my virginity taker S.S. number if I wanted too

TorrentSpy blocks US visitors after court order to log traffic:
http://www.news.com/2100-1030_3-6189866.htmlhttp://www.news.com/2100-1030_3-6204618.htmlAlso, try searching anything in TorrentSpy and you will get the following message:
Torrentspy Acts to Protect Privacy
Sorry, but because you are located in the USA you cannot use the search features of the Torrentspy.com website.Torrentspy's decision to stop accepting US visitors was NOT compelled by any Court but rather an uncertain legal climate in the US regarding user privacy and an apparent tension between US and European Union privacy laws.

I've found that
isoHunt works pretty well. between that, mininova and pirate bay i normally find anything i want. If it's music though, I use
Soulseek. It's not a torrent program but i've never had a problem with it.
