Well the two cars I have owned over the past 12 years have been Chevy. The next one DEFFINITLY will NOT be a Chevy.

It won't even be American. I did vote though. I voted Jeep because I have always like them. Never owned one or even driven one for that matter. But I always wanted to.

Driven Fords, Chevys and Jeeps. I Currently drive a Ford truck, but also own a '68 Camaro. Not really a fan-boy of any particular brand. Each company have offerings that I like.

Never had anything but German cars, apart from a Ford Gran Torino 1973 I had for a few months in 1980. The thing was a hideous lime-green battleship.

Can't really vote because I haven't owned all of the options available. But, for the most part, it is widely known that American cars are absolute shit and have been for a while. However, I do like where Chevy is heading with their eco-friendly line of cars. I think they are the only company to really begin pushing the envelope in catching up with foreign car companies.
Also, what about Saturn? I thought they were American also...if they are, I don't think they fall under the big 4 listed as a sub-division. My brother's fiance has a Vue that I drove once. It was actually really nice. Good power, handling, and luxury as compared to my 94 Chrysler LHS haha. My car has been good to me thus far and keeps going so I can't ask for much more than that.
Sorry to say but if American car companies don't improve I wouldn't be sad if they gave up all together. This would alow taxes on foreign cars to be practically abolished and no competition= amazingly lower prices on great foreign cars. In Germany BMW's are like a ford taurus to us. I remember my Economics teacher telling me the first thing he wanted to do when he got to America was buy a ford taurus. In Korea, to them, the taurus was an amazing car. After he bought it he said he was very dissapointed haha and hasn't bought anything but foreign since.

Don't like any of them. My parents had a Ford Mercury Sable back in the early 90s, none the less, it was a piece of shit. Ever since my dad bought a 95 toyota tercel, we haven't had any american made cars since. All honda and toyota since. Right now I own a toyota corolla s.

Oh boy - here we go. I am a automotive nut...definetely one of my weaknesses (I probably spend more money than I should on vehicles). But - I love all things automotive.
I guess I would have to answer Chevy for American truck since this is out in my driveway:
