I've never been banned before on any other server for being on the same team as one other player. The whole idea of that seems ludicrous.

No they usually ban you because they think you hack

Lets get past this idea that it's you and rem 2 men sandwiched in a team of 30 players as well. Assuming things haven't changed you two always used to play at the comparatively dead time of the server so it would be you and rem + no more than 8 vs 10 or less depending how many people /disconnect when they get shot 10 times in a row before they've even moved a step up the beach. If the server was full and you were doing it I doubt anyone would care, but then you'd have to play vs the nade spam and rem would have a spasm on vent everytime he got naded and his kr would plummet. Which is where he disconnects because he only plays when he knows he can get a kr of over 3, presumably because less than that on a pub and he has to hand in his keys to the leet convention...

In either case it 's a simple request and you don't want to play along then don't play at all.

Mofo and butt buddy need to realize that not everyone on this server plays for competition. Some of us come play to meet up with old friends and to wind up... Spawn as allies at front bunker walk in the trenched get millions of nades thrown, die and respawn again... A noob speaks: Lots of fun to be had playing here. Lots of good people here. Thanks to those who have been buds to me. It's unfortunate when people try and ruin the game for others. Being the new guy I won't venture a guess as to hax/stax - if only to avoid the fallout. I will say that there have been some less than fun moments of late (speaking for myself).

The effects of people trying to pad their stats at the expense of having fun is frustrating. For instance - I rarely win a 1v1, but when I am winning one only to have a /kill pulled on me bites. Or sneak out to the beach and poison a soldier/lt then have them /kill... grrrrr. Personally I think there's a lot of weak sportsmanship happening. And yes, I played competitive hockey and rugby (these are _real_ sports btw - lol) so I know what competition is all about. Fairness and honour. These are qualities lacking in some players.

Anyway, I'm with Sorry - this should be about fun. I don't go to the local rink in the winter and skate circles around weaker players/"noobs" playing there. That would be cheap. I pass to them and give them a chance to improve their game. To me that's fun. I still play in a league where the level of skill is much higher (and many of the players much younger ;>) and I don't win all the time. To me that's fun too.

Having said that, I guess everyone defines fun differently. See, if I own at something (this game is clearly not one of those things) I like to compete with people _better_ than me. Shooting fish in a barrel is not my idea of fun.

To get back to the original topic for a moment: if people do cheat at this (or any) game, that's pathetic. If admins allow banned players / mbl players to reconnect, well... I don't wanna piss of any admins, tell them how to admin, or imagine I understand their cryptic and arcane worlds I do want to thank them for doing the best they can, and for generally being good people to play with. I can has admin status now? (Hardy Har Har)

So here's to fun. Define it as you will, but try to respect that other people define it differently that you. Try to respect the majority (yes, I am Canadian). Try to play with a degree of honour and integrity. Try not to ruin other peoples' fun.

Props to people like Slaughter, Cateye, fingermaster, Dong, Leafy, Warpig, Flees, Mortar, war time hoes people etc and whoever I forgot to mention you know who you are.. for making this server enjoyable even though the selected few idiots ruin the game sometimes.

ecgn is the ONLY server worth playing on. you guys accuse any player that is better then you of hacks. if you havent played osp before... and your playing vs osp players... that ownage your receiving is more than likely legit. osp players are seriously like 20 steps ahead of shrubbers... whether its shot or game smarts. remedy was an excellent player in the osp community... and i can see why you guys think he hacks LOL. but he is legit... has attended quakecon.
