Banned :(

Greetings fellow beachers. I come to this forum not to curse or cuss out anybody, but perhaps have a rational conversation. You see, as of today i am banned from the ECGNetworks 24/7 beach server. My names are shinigami, doughboy and hawaiianpunch and i was banned under doughboy by the admin Mastery for supposed hacks. I´m sure a good amount of you have seen me around. Perhaps some of you know me from when i still used my more common nickname; Mr-Biggles. The thing is, this beach server is pretty much the sole survivor of the good old rtcw servers that steer free of alot of things polluting many other servers, hacks being one of them. Believe me i am pro-antihacks. However, many players know me and, I think at least, will agree that i don´t hack. We all knew the famous Ganja Palace server, of which i was a regular of, and how strict it was on their antihacks as well. I was never banned from a server before, and would like to stay unbanned of my favorite one. I have a clean rep and you can search me anywhere and have no history of hacks. I know alot of good players that are regulars and who many times frustrate me as i´m sure i in occasions frustrate them; but its all part of the game, and i don´t believe they hack either. In any case, i hope we can sort this out and i can enjoy my good old late night wolf runs. Mastery if you read this, I have played with you many times before man and you had never accused me of hacks =/. Maybe you remember me from Ganja. Also, i would like to know if i was spectated and "analyzed" as i have just read in previous ban posts, because it seemed to me mine was more of an instant ban. There was no need for the agressive tone either =/ i wasn´t causing any trouble but simply playing the game quietly. I hope things don´t get feisty.

I read a thread in this website about annoyances in the server, about people stacking teams and making people leave.. and hacks and what not. I try to always join the weaker side to give my 2 cents and have more of a challenge. I never /kill and i try to not even camp. I do my best to play as fair as possible and even try to accept the fact panzers are as much a part of the game as 2 headshots in a row. Not to mention the fact that I don´t care much for stats considering i am an overzealous player who plays for the thrill of the chase and warfare; the kind that will rush headfirst into a roomfull of opposing soldiers to wreak as much havoc in my inevitably short life span (explaining my 1.6ish KD). I agree with a post someone made about having to have honor in the game and accepting defeat when it is in place, or just trying harder when that is required. The only tweaking i even know how to do are the few people tell me to put because of my lag, such as the fps maxrate, picmip, and the m_pitch to keep me from losing my aim too quickly. My monitor is messed up so i have to change the brightness, besides that... the only configurations are having crouch set to F. I am a veteran of the game and this is why I am not rushing in here with a flaming speech about "my rights". I am a hardware, software, anywhere noob and i hope being decent in this game doesn´t mean my eradication. I have no idea how to work around the ban, and am not even aware of what kind of bans there are, be them ip or all those others i hear of. I wouldn´t want to have to live in a shadow either, so i hope this can clean itself all out in the open. I am well aware of how admins try to keep their servers clean.This is a humble request, perhaps i can be put on "probation" or something of the sort. I am open to anything and will be as cooperative as i can in hopes of being able to play in the best remaining wolf server as i have been for many years back. In any case please respond soon and i hope things result nice and smooth.

PS: I have a noob friend who plays the server with my same cd key sometimes xD i suppose he is banned now too. xD

kk thanks for reading it. Just wanted to make sure it had been read by the right people. Not to be disrespectful, but shouldn´t it be the other way around? You know, innocent until proven guilty. It just seems there´s an even slimmer chance of proving me innocent than there is of proving me guilty. Not much you could possibly find on anyone to prove their innocence, except absence of things that would make them guilty; and how exactly does one prove that? :S... I know! ^^ I pinky promise i´m not hacking.

could i possibly get an unban? only way you will get any further is by watching me play =/.

PS: is this even getting looked into?

Thanks to all parties involved ^^. For the time being I am unbanned and I hope will never have to post in this grim section anymore. I never knew not being able to enter somewhere could feel like being trapped outside... locked out if you will. Anyways, thanks for your time and i hope to see you around in the beach.
