dvd r/rw player

i have a liteon dvdrw shw-160p6s (I think thats what it is) player and it wont read discs for some reason...any one have any clue why? do you think the lens is dirty or that the player just took a shit and its time for a new one? still opens and closes and crap and its still recognized by my computer just wont read anything
