is anyone able to hit cubEs? he's some euro player who has the most fucked up hitboxes i've ever seen. he has 200 ping but there's no way his ping alone is making him that unhittable. guy should be banned imo

He seems a little non-legit but hey.....There's a lot of people on the server these days that are that way and we just play and ignore it unless they start to exploit.

I may have played with him back in 1.3, I'm not entirely sure, but if he is part of that clan 7 that I know they wouldn't knowingly let in a hacker...

He was always like that... I just adjusted to aiming at nothing and the shots actually connecting.

This guy have 198ping all the time no matter the server or time of the day, (ECGn and Chaos) - He lives in the UK.
One day i saw one of his clanbuddies play on ecg, with the same 198ping and i don't recall him having that before. (think it was Jeatkat) He played only a short while then left. Never seen him have the same ping again. That's wierd.


Btw, anyone else noticed that the 98, 198 and 298 pingers play very good?

Perhaps another flaw in the unlag/shrub code or the Q3engine. *ponders*

Cubes was busted a couple of years back (Gamb would know more) for a multihack I think. He was banned, served a 1 year competition ban, then started playing 1.33. He has a younger brother that used the hack fairly consistently and caused shit all over 1.41 in Ganja Palace for a little bit in early 2007. TBH, Cubes get's pissy at ppl for the constant accusations of hacking, and I really couldn't tell he hacks currently. He's is a bit bipolar sometimes; somedays I've never had an issue with him, on others, he's been a twat. Can't tell if his younger brother (definitely a bitch) plays under his name and thats when the attitude change occurs.

He is fairly good at tweaking configs though, not as good as Jinx was, but good enough IMO to fuck up his hitboxes if he wanted to running 200 ping. Again, I would have to ask Gamb to give you guys more detail on this. Always been a sketchy player though.

I'm 7|Jeatkat| and you have probably seen me play on ECGN lately.

I really love this game, I like the ECGN server, most people on it are cool and I'm very happy when an admin changes the map
Though, Beach is fun, but too much is too much hehe.

Anyway I've been reading this forums for some days now and I see my name mentioned here lol.

I've noticed aswell that Cubes (who is also a member of the 7 clan) is hard to hit, but I'm euro, so some low pingers are even harder to hit. We are a fun clan, but we do take Rtcw serious, so no hackers are allowed. As a good fella and a -maybe- naïve person, I'm sure Cubes doesn't hack.

And I'm also very sure that I don't hack aswell
S.Shooter, you're right about my ping... I never have a 198 ping, but mostly a ping around 120. So I don't understand what you're saying lol... maybe I was dieing alot and speccing Cubes or some antivirus was causing lag... I don't know, I'm not a pc specialist. It had to be a coincidence

I've never experienced being called a cheater, but lately this has changed lol (some funny peeps call me cheatkat - haha). The first time you feel flattered, but after a while it gets a little bit annoying.

Anyway, as long as 'the ultimate hack-and-cheat spotter Gamb' doesn't think I cheat, I'm happy

i haven't noticed anything suspicious in the hitboxes of other 200 pingers. granted they are a bit off but they aren't overly unhittable like pubes. seems plausible that he is print screening.
also i only see him on very late at night when there's not many people on the server. maybe he only printscreens when the server isn't populated.

I'm also pinged 98 from time to time...

I don't know why but really weird.

Cubes I normally see don't go on very populated times on the server.
