Weird goofy ass irrelevant topic

I wanted to start off this topic by asking people here what their beliefs are in the paranormal. However I know that most are skeptics often because they have never had a personal experience.

I have seen many shows out there like Most Haunted or Paranormal State which I always considered a bunch of bullshit. These shows are always ready to accept anything thats weird that occurs as paranormal without considering what else it could be (for example a piece of dust being called an orb).

I started watching a show called ghost hunters years back, and the difference being they go to try and disprove a haunting. I watched this show from the get go and bought into what they were selling since Ive seen them and trusted them cause they are so quick to dismiss and if they cant dismiss it is what it is. In the back of my head though Ive always thought that I could of been suckered right into it and tricked, and in the end bought into there tricks. For me really I had to experience it for myself to believe it.

I went to my first paranormal investigation to a place called The Bala Bay Inn. This place had the history the tragedy and all the right circumstances to be considered haunted. I expected everything but unfortuntly their was nothing. Two rooms in particular were "supposedly" the active rooms. Room 242 was claimed that the tv would go on and off by itself, sure enough shortly before we started recording the tv went on and off by itself. All the tvs at the bala bay inn are all controlled by universal remotes meaning every remote will work for every tv in the building so it was completly debunked.

Our second investiagtion was a private residence in Toronto. This place I expected nothing, but the owner of the place was convinced that it was haunted. Either way one of the active rooms according to the owner was the basement. Right away our electronic magnetic field detector was doing shit Ive never seen it do before before but it means nothing. At the same time though we recorded this on our digital recorder, You'll here at the very start us talking and then right near the end you'll hear a voice say "get out".

You have to listen carefully preferablly with headphones but this is the original recording I also have the modified recording with the hiss turned down and the voice turned up if your interested. We also caught other EVP's that night. Im not willing to say what we caught is the voice of a ghost for a second. I cant say what it is, all I can tell you is what it isent, It isent me or any of the other 2 investigators that were there that night. It isent noise pollution because it was a windowless brick basement, I didnt edit or manipulate this audio in any way. Im willing to listen to any other theories including audio matrixing but it is what it is. One of the EVP's we also caught, or voices if you dont know what evp is was "you have to keep her". I have no reason to try to fool anyone but Im still trying to disprove or consider any other possibilty.

Ive played this audio clip to whoever is willing to listen to it because I want to consider any and every other possibility of what it could be. If you think its a bunch of bullshit thats fine say so, if you were a skeptic and are now having second thoughts then say so as well, and most importantly if you have a theory that it can be something else that I havent considered defintly state it. No wrong answers I just want feedback and if your intreuged Ill upload some more voices we recorded that night.

i believe in ghosts they are real man..im intrested in all the this paranormal activity stuff, ..over here in the UK i visited a village called PLUCKLEY VILLAGE and its the most haunted village in great britain and the woods next to the village and church are called the screaming woods... look it up on youtube there are loads of PROPER GHOST SIGHTINGS...if u find the right ones..theres another programme which is good its called ghost adventures.... watch this.....

Bala Bay in Muskoka sounds nice - probably a good time anyway. Been on a few tours of haunted spaces in Toronto. Great fun. Amazing what a group of people focused on an outcome or event can produce/experience? Collective consciousness? Spiritus mundi?

No Cann. Warpig was asking Puny if they heard the "Get out" in person or if it was something they heard on the recording only.

I cannot say I have had a direct encounter with spiritual beings of any sort, but some instances in life where I think that something else was at work that you just could not see. There are plenty of car accidents, personal accidents I am sure should have killed me before, so I guess I could say I am a believer of the Guardian Angel.

I personally have noticed some weird instances myself with ESP and the mind. Anyone game on that? Just weird things that I could almost know or feel what someone was going to say to me, before it came up in conversation. I have had visions/premonitions about things that alluded to things to come over traumatic experiences. Even really dumb things. Christ, when I used to walk to high school, and put my mp3 player of 100+ songs on, I hear myself humming to the song I wanted to play next, and it would.

Nothing of this is really substantial to proving or disproving psychic phenomenon, but since you brought it up, I thought to stick my nose in it Cool shit IMO.

that's really cool that you took an interest in that. i believe in it myself. I stayed in a haunted castle in ireland called the Springfield castle. I stayed in this room they call the red room and when I woke up the dresser had moved at least 3 feet to the left. I tried to lift it later that morning and it took two of us even to lift it.

When I was 14 my parents bought a house in Stockton CA. During the years I saw a few things that just wasn't right. My Mom woke up one morning telling me about a guy dressed in overalls standing at the end of her bed. She said he kept telling her to get out. Then one day I was standing in the kitchen and heard the screen to the front door open and I swear I saw this man in overalls walk right down the hall to my Moms room. Scared me so bad I went to the library and looked up property ownership for the land we were on. Come to find out it was used to be farmland and belonged to a old man. My guess is the old man in the overalls we kept seeing was the owner. Sounds dumb but I stand by what I saw. So whenever we heard the screen open we'd say farmer Joe was here.
