Level 1 Regular: basic command difficulties.

Postby Hayling » Wed Jan 20, 2010 8:25 pm

It kinda happened when I started using someone's cfg and I'm having problems using my Level 1 commands. I still appear to have LvL1 status but I'm still at a loss trying to use some of them most returned I don't have privileges to use them. However some Lvl 1 users still able to do !spec999 while I cannot.

I never recall misusing or abusing it at all in my presence.

I know some level one users can use !mute, !unmute, !spec999, !launch, !fling or !throw (this command !unmute is laughable but sometimes works).

However I can't perform any commands to these and had to beg any admin around to reset my reset my Level 1 abilities. Cateye reseted it for me one time (a week or 2 ago) but when I re-enter the server, I've lost the abilities yet again.

Any experienced admins have any suggestions? Thank you for your and I well appreciate your input.

You are not alone Hayling.

I'm level one and have the same problem, none of the commands work, never really been able to figure it out...

I thought this level 1 was supposed to stop you from getting kicked for inactivity, but every time I try to go to the washroom or get a drink from the fridge I get kicked for inactivity....

That's me kman. I'm kicking you for going afk with the teams only panzer. It's nothing you did wrong tho. Don't worry about it!

And Hayling, copy your one mp_wolfconfig file from your main folder to your shrub folder(s). That should make it all the same and won't change everytime you rejoin.

Save a copy of these files in Documents first just incase you run into any problems.

Solved Hayling's problem last night by setting him level 0, then back to level 1. The bot was confused, and yes, this can happen when you change your config -- happens to us Admins at times too.

KMan, if you're really having the same problems (none of the level 1 commands work: trying !fling kman is a good test) remind me sometime when I'm on and I'll do the same for you.

I solved the command issue another way. I'd emptied whatever I have on my wolfconfig (mp) and I'm now recognized by the system. Now we are Level 1 united. Thanks for the inputs guys. :)

i know this is basic, but sometimes you have to "log in" by using !admintest. i was having the same issues because the bot wouldn't recognize my lvl 1 status. whenever i'm set to lvl 0 i just type that in and it works fine.

So you have to type "!admintest" first and then the commands will work?

cause my !fling was broken again yesterday, it worked one day and not the next.

Thx I will try your tip...
