Oh My! good to see some people keeping the game alive .

Also good to see same rehashed post just a diffrent era....

Just an opinion from an old player who seen it all like most of u....

Banning hackers (as much as i hate them) in the stage of the game would be utterly pointless. Do i think some of the people that have been listed hack? hell yes!.

But like i said its pointless, unless there is a heavy and popular demand for competition in this game like back in the day, there won't be any PB Updates. Also no League or ladder play to ban some of those people who thrive on RTCW matches from.

Some of those players listed keep the server just a bit more alive and active.

Just follow the golden rules..

#1. Once a hacker ALWAYS a hacker plain and simple. Nothing can change that. there are to many multi-time offenders compared to the %2 1 timers to deny or argue that fact.

#2. People can make a vocal case for a said person. Also it holds much less more weight if your a friend or clanmate of said person.

#3. People can hack and still be terrible at the game.

#4. Overall Community Regulars Opinions and Voice Holds massive weight over 1 or 2 people's opinion.

if 15-20+ Regulars all think 1 person (the same person is cheating). there is a 90% chance they are right. Years of playing and combined knowledge/experiance from multiple Vets of RTCW good/average or bad players Holds more Value then anything in the game period.

So a poll on banning someone at this stage of the game would be the only effective way of dealing with the cheating issue as far as no help from PB/Demos go.

as for Remedy. all he does is camp corners with cross hair at face level.
he only goes for Kills. Even though thats all he does u cant help but put him into the bull-shit category. But also remember this, he plays/played this game more then a korean child with no life. (Caught with Aim Cheat in ET).

Booty: i like the guy but like listed u have to follow the golden rules. So hes always 100% suspect even if he is truley clean now.

Flessan: i think hes legit, imo ive played with and against him and his clan for years. he has always gotten a bit better over the years. Give the man his due.

Skibb: Who really knows.. hes another KD whore, u can almost put him in the Korean kid status with remedy.... nah hes half Korean . would go with the voice of the vets on this 1. Opinion: Him being a douchebag 90% of the time dosnt help his chances.

Source: Honestly i havnt really played enough with him to make a fair assement on my own. for 1 noone really (Noticed) him untill the double digit seasons (Near death of RTCW comp). So unless theres an overwhelming vote u would have to give him the benifit of the doubt.

Hamburgler: Hes been around forever also... the only thing that really makes him suspect is over a dozen of his former clanmates haven been caught cheating. But that shouldnt make the fate of 1 person. Vets opinion would weigh in on this one.

Mofo: 10,000 names = 10,000 reasons to think so.

Nigel: Ive seen this player also grow over the years. From a really bad bani nub to a really good all arounder. TBH id be suprised and let down if he ever did cheat. I give him his due only because ive played with and against him a long time. But once again thats just my opinion.

As for Mr.Method. Having a passion for the game u say? thats great man alot of people do. But u do realize u posting all that u posted is like The pot calling the kettle black.

Dont get me wrong trying to help whats left of the game/community is def great on your part and having your opinions be heard from the other side of the fence is also insightfull.

Tips on how to stop cheaters from a multi-time cheater would be very good and pricless information. But thats only if the people can trust u and what u have to offer although be it late on this certin subject.

Anyway hackers and non hackers alike have fun on the beach .

I tend to agree that if someone cheats in one game, they're more likely to cheat in another. But without solid proof (or at least demo evidence,) that rem or anyone else cheats on this server, it would be irresponsible for an admin to ban that player. If someone cheats, they'll probably be caught eventually or get tired of living the lie and move on to something else. And if not, you get to improve as a player by playing against them and sharpening your skills. Not trying to justify cheating, but it is what it is. Enjoy the game, try to improve, be a team player. That's what it's all about.

lol no offence but ignorance is truley bliss for admins who might have to deal with these (Accusations).

The proof is in the old ass pudding in the back of the fridge that everbody is to lazy to clean out because people wanna hang on to every last active player the game has left.

But like i said its kinda pointless as the time and period of the state of RTCW. People who played ass tons of matches and scrims back in the day know what's what and who rides the bull-shit train to downloaded skill.

Also to get mad at players who complain about cheaters is just like putting on the mental ear muffs with a kid or someone saying something u don't wanna hear just because your tierd of it, even though that person is sometimes 100% right

Also sure there are players who cry hacks at everybody, maybe 1 or 2 of those in every server. But im just saying when people who dont cry and bitch and point blame at everyone says something it's time to open up them ear drums.

I myself havnt played on the EGCN server in about 4 months now.
I just simply stumbled upon this thread while going through old site favs.

What do i gain from accusing someone? Nothing..... just thought u would like the truth and just some opinions from someone who's done and seen it all in this great game.

i have no personal beef with any of the people being listed, besides Skibb but who the fuck likes or gets along with him anyway? lol

Anyway listen or dont listen i can care less. some of these people BEEN running around for years and only the credible servers have kept them banned in the past. (I.E) Servers with admins who knew what was going on in the comp and pub part of the game.

Also this is not a slam on the EGCN admins either. i myself have no problem with any of them, im just saying there combined knowledge on who rides the hacks train is limited to random demos and people pointing blame.

Im sorry but causual players/admins will always only know half of whats going on. it isnt there fault they are trying to enjoy the game and make it enjoyable for others. But when ALOT of people start pointing blame at the same people/person over and over again, it's time to do some homework on certin players. But like i said..is it really worth it in this era of rtcw?

Thats up to the whole server to decide.

Lol well it would if it was legit and not a ban submitted from a server that was only online for 24 hours and only ever submitted the one ban. Also convenient that it was et so that no-one could verify the key.

That ban was more suspect than a whole server full og headshot Heroes...

Oh and yy_aim was already a good year out of date at the time of the ban and didn't require a download just someone to type yy_aim in the console...

I've never banned cross-platform. People mentioned the Rem ET hack to me long ago, I looked up the old ET threads about it. It was sufficiently vague, plus the fact banning cross-platform seems a little over the top. Should we have someone check to see if he got kicked from XBox Live too? What about that time in third grade when he was playing freeze tag and said the safe base was the tire swing when it was really the slide?

So he's either found the magic RTCW hack that remained private enough to never get passed around for his entire playing career, or he's just good. Or he's constantly found new undetectable hacks over the years. The chances of him being really good while using a hack crutch his entire life don't seem to be too high. Nearly all hackers I've seen were horrible players. A few were good players, but they were good players without the hack as well.

And if he has been hacking all these years, take solace in the fact that he is a total loser that would probably commit suicide if he ever got caught, because this game would be his life.
