I don't want this to turn into a Kman bashing thread. I have no trick to keep the panzer, if the guy who has it goes low negative i guess I'll pick it up. I tk with the panzer at the lowest rate on the server so its not really a bad idea if I have it. One thing I *never* do though is steal it at the start of the round. NEVER. I also don't ask for it either. NEVER. You will see players request a bad panzer to give it up and suggest I take it, but you will never see me ask for it.

Recently on the server, I was tked several times at the start of the round cause I inadvertently got the panzer. I lost it midround but never deselected it and magically it popped into my hands next round, that's when the tks/insults started. So have to change my name again.

I'm very sensitive to not stealing the panzer, I never select it unless its available.

There is a trick to steal the panzer at the start of the round. I don't know that trick but MsB does, she takes it off me very frequently, which is fine cause I'll just use the venom, but if she asks I would give her the panzer anyway cause she's good with it.

I'm sure she just has to type in "Take Panzer from (insert name here)".

Wasn't trying to bash you kman. Just giving you shit becuase you always seem to have it round after round. You are pretty good with it so I don't usually complain. You also share it which is more that I can say for a lot of people.

Here is a longer fullspeed version of the first nade shot, the other videos are 60% fullspeed. The shooter spawns in the low barracks (go figure someone with a 2+ kill ratio spawning in the low barracks 100% of the time), nothing in the bunker window he makes a beeline straight to the murderhole.

=TAO=WARPIG wrote:*kman, using the ingame menu you should be able to make it much brighter. I think you may have vertex lighting on...or off I can't remember which is worse. Also bind r_intensity 3 to a key. The game will still look realistic and you'll be able to fkn see.

I only have minor tweaks to my config, I don't have an "r_intensity" setting in my config. I also don't have a "timenudge" setting either - I checked, Gamb grumbled something about a lame timenudge setting to me once when he could'nt kill me with his gun and I naded him and took the docs. Its cause your a bad shot gamb...

Anyway the videos I posted look the way I play the game, there are shadows, coronas, darkness, fog, actual colors not just bleached textures. I like it that way cause I think the game/level designers made a beautiful game, with a nice color palette and out of respect for them I try to preserve that - the way they might have intended for it to look.

So, if your a sniper and i kill u from 500 feet with a big arcing shot, it wasn't easy cause I don't do anything special to enhance your visibility to me, but if you snipe me first maybe your config was helping you.

I truly love the fact that most of you overlook the most simple explanation here.

Most of the time I have been called on hacks for a random nade, backrage, or corner camp I actually see where players are going, or notice a pattern in their movement. So, if you are going to keep going the same way, or I see a group of allies running in a one-way direction, I get there and set up first. If I get there first and have the advantage of location before you do, tough nuts kiddos.

Besides, players you accuse of hacking also just so happen to be players with loads of competitive experience. They are looking for these little details just as much you look for their "hacks." They trained themselves to watch and time your movements with a lot of precision over the years. Who is the ass in that scenario?

I told you a while back the trick Kman. You have every right to get the panzer at the start of a new round, there's no name on it. You are very good with it. Change your name or not,all anyone has to do is go to the stats page and all your alliases are there. You're not hiding. Please tell me here or in a pm who it was that gave you shit. When I ask someone who has had the panzer for 4 rounds can I use it and I get no answer. The odds are they will lose it the next round. It's not an admin cheat or anything. I can't stand someone who takes the panzer *PORK* and stands in the trenches the whole game. Makes me wanna shoot him between the eyes. Don't listen to the jerks bitching about your panzing. Most of them bastards who tried to use it would be skulled in the 1st 5 minutes from blowing themselves up. Winters and I talked today Kman, he asked me the trick also, no bashing intended.

On the note that you do not "steal the panzer from people" thing, everyone can, and yet no actually steals it. If you choose panzer class at the beginning of a match, sometimes the game will give it to you, sometimes it will won't. Complately random from my experience. I could easily be wrong though.

And btw the Kman, if you are going to come on here and act like you are trying to be humble and civil about the panzer, please don't. You like to keep it for yourself, you barely play other classes, and when others want to use it, you really don't care. At least be upfront about it.
