John Carmack released the source code for RTCW and ET. Should be interesting to see what kind of projects spring out of that....

More like nine years too late instead of five.

That's AWESOME !!! A lot of great mods / recompiles were made when Blizzard released the source code for Doom2 (GZDoom). I'd like to see the RTCW soldiers have personal avatars for faces. That would make it easier to hunt down CHICK with my nades.
PS. B, got your call my cell is a piece of shit, will call soon. kiss back.

Modders will love this.

Bug fixes/improvements for one. Future proofing. More platforms...i.e mobile phones..Merging OSP features into vanilla Wolf. Imagine OSP + Shrub...Hmm. No limit really. You can basically make your own game with it.
Here's a list of what was done with Quake3...

You would have to re-write both OSP and shrub, unless you had the source code to one. Both of them are closed source.

The source to Shrub likely died along with Shrub himself, but the Orange Smoothie folks are still around. I could see them being compelled to open up their code for inclusion in a project like that, perhaps.

The OSP code is included in the ET source since vanilla ET incorporated most features of the mod.

Also, I think this was already offered a few months ago.

awesome news! been playing about with ioquake and xreal for a while, theres some awesome stuff been added to them. i really hope to see the rtcw engine enhanced as much if not more! idtech3 is my favourite engine!
would love a updated version so a new wolf could be made on it! might make me forget about the abomination that was "wolfenstein (2009)".
speaking or xreal:
http://xreal-project.net/the are porting it to the ET source

Wait I'm confused. What's this wolf_srcmod_141.exe I have on my computer? Man I wish I knew some elite codes right about now. I'm imagining some better hitboxes right about now among other things lol.
**Edit**
Oh and arjay. I'm assuming you're aware of the captioned pic of your AV that says, "the fuck you just say to me bish?" LOL

That's the mod source, that's that you need to make a mod for rtcw.
