Ozzfest just went on sale for $10 in certain areas. MA. is one. Good deal for some of us poor folk.

If I had a car I would look, but the problem in the summer here is all the concerts are out in Mansfield, and I am not renting a car for that lol!

That's like here. The better concerts are either in Pittsburgh or Philly. I don't wanna drive 3 1/2 hrs. I might for Ozzfest though.

bummer I didn't see this topic before. Great link B, can't go wrong with a $10 concert ticket. I never went to an Ozzfest but I saw Ozzy twice with Randy Rhoads on guitar, and 2 other times with other guitarists. Randy Rhoads imo was the greatest rock guitarist ever. The first time was in 1981 or 82 at a 5000 seat theatre, The Orpheum Theatre in Boston. Motorhead was the opening act. We were 10 rows back, best concert I've ever seen.

I miss the good ole days, if you name a heavy metal or classic rock band from the 70's or 80's chances are that I saw them in concert. Just wished I remembered the shows though

yes I did back in the late 80's. They've always rocked. I like the first line up of the band the best, Micheal Shenker left the band to join UFO way too soon. They had a much different sound and look when they first started back in 1972.

Scorpions are my most favorite and old Scorpions are the top of the pile. Sails of Charon one of there best. Seen them like 6 times since 80. They say there hanging it up after this tour. Will see

Charon has been covered by many bands Metallica, Testement, even Yngwie Malmsteen.

Ill post up some shots of the show we seen last week. $25 bucks and we got 7th row right at stage height. It was Stone Sour (Have liked them since 2002 one of the best Albums, a must have, "What ever may come", of course it is made of a few members of Slipnot, really they, Stone Sour, came first) also there was Avenge Sevenfold, and Disturbed. There where more bands before, but I had to work and it was an hour drive. I was glad we got there just before Stone Sour. Then to have general admission and to walk right down and get 2 seats 7th row was way cool.

I am a big Scorps fan too. In high school in the early 80's I even bought a talk box just to play The Zoo..lol Uli Roth is amazing, and Sails of Charon is one of his best. I used to have Tokyo Tapes on vinyl and played it endlessly. Great stuff !
