Believe it or not, Dave Chappelle lives across the street from me. I am in the country, so it is like 1000 feet, but he does live on the farm across from me. I only see him in his SUV once in a while. The dude just checked out of the lime light. The realtor that was for the guy we bought our house from, was also Dave's. The realtor told us about it the day we closed on our home. That made me take a look at the house more, when some one is coming and going, when I pass them. For the most part I will go months with out see anyone. It's not like I am stocking him. He is just another dude to me. My step dad has been In TV production for years and I have meet a few peeps from there. Some cool and some total asswipes.

I only had to deal with a few people with racist names or comments over the years on the server. I asked them in a msg to change their name or stop using the language. I approached them in a mature manner about it and they all responded in a mature fashion by changing the name or stopping which was much appreciated. Words don't bother me but I figured it might bother some.

My goal was to always keep players on the server and to keep the game alive. If I seen something that had the potential to run someone off I dealt with it. I'll admit, I was always really lucky with players on the server. I never really got into pissing matches or had to show my ass. Approaching someone with respect, maturity and always through a PM seemed to work wonders.

The fact that I was admin I'm sure helped. The years I played before becoming admin I know I never got off that easy.
