Meaning I clear paths and generally aim to increase the amount of map area controlled by allies but I don't go for docs nor do I directly clear a path for the doc carrier unless it's an early push to the wr with someone who isn't retarded and it will be fun to push radio against a swarm of axis. Why? Because I get no enjoyment out of getting one manned in the basement or having my teammates constantly shoot me in the back, flame me, spam nades on me, and watch me get gibbed while I try and push into basement barracks. Trying to push out of box room as allies is miserable and it has nothing to do with the axis players.

As for stacked teams, it's boring regardless of the side I'm on. Sometimes I switch but when I look at the playerlist and see that the allies are made up of people who never push, why bother? I can clear all of side stairs and as I move back down from upper to fight the axis i killed who low spawn I'll get tkd by a nade through the window. The issue of stacked teams has little to do with higher skilled players and more to do with the temperament of the mid-skilled/low-skilled players. I'd rather be on a team with rcf yankee who actually stands still in fire fights but always pushes, never tks me and can revive than someone like illicit who is a much better shot but will never push against the other team, instead opting to stand on a corner of an area map held by his team. The problem is when allies is made up of all illicits and snafus who simply sit on grass and spam nades and a/s.

I don't know how to fix. Calling people idiots and telling them to push in all caps doesn't work, so I'm out of ideas.

God you are such a fucking idiot. Its a pub. Try not to let that stuff bother you bro.

However anyone who's a fair and unbiased admin i have no problems with.
please re-read the above huggy. If that can't explain the ban then i don't know.

So what was the reason for the original ban? That post you quoted doesn't say. Hacking? TK'ing on purpose over and over? Or did we lose a player for no good reason?

Well see Huggy...you're not an admin and I need not explain anything to you. That's why we have an admin section. MAA took care of it. I can not firewall anyone. So if he is firewalled that means MAA saw a reason for it and took care of it. Seriously..How many people do you see me banning? If I do ban someone for tking or bleeding or even getting out of hand it is usually for a round or two. Most of the time I lift a ban before I leave the server.

Where did I disrespect you when asking my question? You don't think I deserve the same respect I afford you when talking to you? Your response sounds like a petulant teenager. If you didn't know the answer, you could say "I don't know." See how easy that was? No insults necessary.

The larger point, that you're apparently missing, is that RTCW is losing players daily. Should we be banning players that don't cheat? Should our admins have attitudes that drive players away? I await your opinion on these matters if you can manage to reply with no insults.

Reminding you that you're not an admin on this server is not an insult. People leave for many reasons. You think someone cheating is the only reason for a ban? You don't think someone ruining other players game play would deserve a ban? Disrespecting admins or other players? spamming the server after a ban? Tking or bleeding? Players leave for many reasons. The ban above has already been lifted. I don't have to explain anything to you or any of the other players. The only one I have to answer to is MAA and I do it daily. It's sad that we lose players like Meyer. If you wonder about bans then you are more than welcome to read the banned section to answer your questions.

Now you're insulting my intelligence. Your response was hostile for absolutely no reason.

B wrote:You think someone cheating is the only reason for a ban?

With the remaining player base, almost a 100% YES.

B wrote:You don't think someone ruining other players game play would deserve a ban?

Too vague to answer, but I would default to NO.

B wrote:Disrespecting admins or other players?

With the remaining player base, a resounding NO.

B wrote:spamming the server after a ban?

With the remaining player base, if the ban was unwarranted, I would forgive a player's anger in this case. NO.

B wrote:Tking or bleeding?

Only if it was on purpose and after multiple warnings, due to the size of THE REMAINING PLAYER BASE.

B wrote:I don't have to explain anything to you or any of the other players.

Attitudes like that don't help keep THE REMAINING PLAYER BASE around.

Do you see a pattern?

Is this why your server is dead? Because you kept the jerks and chased away the decent people? Maybe ECGN should let the hackers come back also? Server would fill up. Who cares what the decent non trouble making people want..right? You know the ones who haven't hacked, been banned or disrespected other players....

I'm not going to have a pissing match with you. You have your server, you can go run it your way. You are entitled to your opinions, but it won't change how ECGN is ran or has been for 10 yrs. Take care now.

I don't have anything against you. All I want is the remaining players to stick around as long as possible.
