New PB?

Finally think I have a computer again----yes, it has been a couple of years since I got back online. Long, long story of no consequence.

OK, I'm lookin' around, tryin' to play Beach 24/7, and I don't have PB on (forget how to install, etc.---I'm not a computer techie, period!) Seems that the PB is completely new, and I can't load patches (1.41., etc.) to install updates in auto mode. All f***ed up. Guess I need GOTY version? Well, anyone out there who can help me resolve this so I can be an annoyance as I used to be on the hill?

did you try just turning it on in your wolf menu? like, open wolf, go to multiplayer, and the click (enable punkbuster)...???

Tried that, but nada. I have the old version (1.0?), not GOTY. Trouble is that I haven't been on in so long, and I had to do a file transfer. Everything is dicked up.

I've never seen a full 1.41 update that contains all the needed pk3's.
