Dragon, is that a Kensington trackball? I've been using a Logitech Marble Mouse, but have recently starting looking for one that has more than two buttons. The Kensington trackballs I've seen online look like they have four buttons around the trackball and then several buttons along the top for launching software.
Can the buttons along the top be programmed to execute in-game commands? (like setting one up to hit 'r' for reload?)
The way the four buttons are positioned around the trackball, I would think that you might accidentally press them, do you find this to be true?
Sorry for all the questions,
but I've been playing Planetside a lot recently and have found that having only two mouse buttons at my disposal is slowing me down.

Pointing device
Yes that is the Kensigton tackball. With a mouse .. . my desk allways runs outta room. With the marble trackball it seems to diffucult to track enemies and my fingers are to fat. With The track ball its the size a cue ball. Its acctually illuminated by an LED i installed. . . .Just to make it look cool. The 4 buttons surrounding the ball are 4 different buttons. I only use the bottom 2 the top 2 just seem to far away fer my lazy ass . . The top row is configurable using the Kensigton software that comes with the device. Ive never installed it never used it. The buttons just seem to far away to use during game play.
This is the best device to use for pointing/tracking by far.

Running a P4 2.4Ghz, 512 RAM, 80 gig HD, GeForce ti4200, Audigy 2, Logitech 4.1 speakers (not quite enough room to use 5.1 effectively), and 19" flat screen monitor (NOT flat panel). Think that about covers it. Would be a nice system, but it is a Dell
If I had only waited another couple of months I could have put a system together. But being without a computer for so long would have driven me sane.
