My problem is, everytime someone shows me a bind its:
/bind x +salute
/bind x -salute
/bind x lsound fear2
/bind x kill
/bind x quit
But every time I bind something new, it clobbers my old bind. Now when I press 'x' I never know what I'm getting anymore. I sure wish I could have more than 1 bind.
Assuming this isn't a joke...You cannot bind multiple items to the same key. You need to pick different keys for each command. "-salute" is not required. When you release the key for +salute the game automatically does a -salute.
you can bind multiple things to the same key like this
- Code: Select all
bind x "1st_command;2nd_ command;3rd_command"
this is how I use +salute
- Code: Select all
bind SHIFT "+movedown;+salute"

Dragging "downed" team mates is a feature only allowed on Shrub Mod servers. ECGN Network 24/7 Beach IS a shrub mod server.
Here is how you do it in simple terms. Before you can drag team mates, you have to ACTIVATE +salute. The easiest way to activate this command is to join the server, join a team, then open your console ~, and type /+salute
Hit enter. You're done! You can now drag team mates. To actually drag them, they must be 'downed' and they cannot tap out. If they are laying on the ground waiting for a medic, simply walk up to there body, aim at their body, crouch and walk backwards at the same time. You'll get the hang of it!
Keep in mind, every time you join the server, you will have to put /+salute into the console to drag people again. Happy fragging! Erm... Or should I say dragging?

If shoving is enabled, then having +salute on all the time will cause teammates to be shoved away when they try to revive you. However, this problem is avoided on ECGN since +salute only works on dead bodies and doesn't allow shoving.
