I'm a Star Wars fan, and I bet a lot of people on here are as well. I was a big fan of Jedi Outcast for the lightsaber fighting alone... so the next game in the series- Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy- is news I can get excited about...

i cant wait to see more characters than that one guy and the twi'lek chick.

has star wars galaxies come out yet? that looks to be some crazy game. hopefully it wont be star wars sims.

I saw a rodian character (like Greedo) and the press release thing says that you create your character before you start the game; you pick your species, saber color, and other stuff...

Don't know much about the other SW games... I see stuff about Knight of the Old Republic, SW Galaxies, SW Rebel Strike, and others... but I can't keep em straight...

I like Jedi Knight because it's done by Raven (same as SOF), and they snuck in a "dismemberment code" which shows what would happen if you hit someone with a spinning lightsaber in midair... can you say sliced, diced, cauterized and in a pile?

This one looks cool with all of the dual bladed stuff...

Star Wars Galaxies, the Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game

will be out this fall, either early or late or in between...LoL!

I've read from interviews with its developers that there will be phases to the game, the first release phase players are confined to a few planets, you can't space travel yet or engage in space combat. Basically you'll be on the ground wandering the world you're in or you've chosen. The next release phase, set to come out a year after will have players roaming the galaxy and there are plans to add more content as they become developed by the developers... The first phase is basically get commercial feedback and really see how the game does on a open public level as it is in the final beta right now I believe...

Sounds sweeet to me.....

I own the SW jedi knight II and I had a lot of fun with it , the next game seems that it deserves to be bought after watching the video

JK2 was fun in single player and ok online... I am just not a big fan of small multiplayer games. If you can't at LEAST play 20-20 then the odds are really good that you can't keep me playing the game too long...
