It's not a video card because there is no external VGA connector. It's meant for something internal, but it certainly isn't an ISA device. VESA maybe?

I was going to guess some sort of memory expansion card (didn't memory come on expansion cards way back when?).

You guys are right. It's an old 4MB card of RAM from my Compaq 386 DeskPro.

I got one better - it's RAM pulled specifically from a Compaq computer.

The KTC part number was reserved specifically for Compaq's computers.

We can fit 1GB of RAM into something 9 times smaller than that today...Amazing isn't it....And after watching AniMatrix and realizing our dependence on machines, kind of freaky and disturbing...eek!
