Digital Camera suggestions

Hey guys I'm in the market for a new digital camera any suggestions? budget is about 300-400 and something that has a good optical zoom...also would be nice to have a good macro feature... please post pictures samples if you can thanks:help:

Olympus C-50 . . . bar none the best 5 megapixel camera dollar for dollar. Incredible IQ, a TON of great shooting modes (full auto to full manual) and all around a solid performer.

I have a great panasonic camera....I fully recommend it. It is the http://www.panasonic.ca/English/audiovideo/digitalstill/dmclc40s.asp

Forget the MSRP, I paid $600 Cdn. for it.

Yeah it's great if you live in the States, but for us outside the States we gotta pay so much, like shipping, taxes, duty fees, other hidden fees... :( :help:

try http://www.ebay.ca it is the canadian version...no duty, etc...
