WARNING bot has gone HAL 9000

A note to all posting here in the near future: The TK bot on the ECGN servers seems to have gone on a rampage. Normally it will only ban a person after 3 TK kicks in 24 hours. This is not the case since 1.4 which seems to have pushed our friend over the edge. Your FIRST TK kick will result in a BAN. The bot normally kicks at -5 and below. I suggest that you watch your scores closely and play conservatively until you have a bit of a cushion. I also suggest leaving the server if things look a bit too close for comfort.

The staff here at ECGN and our VERY good friend Kevlar are in the process of taking care of this problem. Stick with us through the bumpy ride, you know you like it rough See you guys on the battlefield.

They are working on it blue, untill then I guess we just have to make sure to check our fire. Or as doom said, if it gets close.. just leave. I know these guys work there butts off. They will get the bot working right again soon.

hmmm. I belive I have been a vistim of this evil, evil bot. i was playing today (June 17 @ approx. 9:00). We were playing Midway and I was in the back of the battleship. I lobbed a salvo at the enemy held air field and killed a teammate on accident. This was my first kill so I got -2 and was promptly booted. I tried to get back but I couldn't connect to the server. My name in the server is [1stC] Sgt.deathBOB. BTW it was ECGNetwork.ComBF#1

Getnlemen, in addition to making a post here in the forums you need to PM MMmm GOOD you IP addy and your nick. It would also help to send a link to your post here in the Whines forums. Keep in mind that without the PM you can NOT be unbanned. The post here in the Whines forum is to allow the different admins a chance to voice your worthiness of reinstatement Feel free to NOT use harsh language when posting here, swearing at me is a GREAT way to stay banned.

But in the case you are banned, ALWAYS POST HERE FIRST. It could be that an admin banned you for smack behavior. He will tell his side of the story that might be different from your version. The uberadmin MMmmGood always likes to know both sides of the story, just to filter out the smacks from the guys with bad luck.
