Crouch as you shoot the other player may have a hard time hitting you(Everyone knows that one right?)
Sat Jun 28, 2003 1:23 am
haha when people crouch I run straight to them aiming straight at their head up close... they normally dont last long, unless I am highly damaged from fighting.
but, crouching will keep you from getting poisoned long as the medic aimed for your chest and you crouched, this has happened to me so many times, I am now crouching to poison which works almost every time.. the other few times a nade goes off and blasts one of us away.

Hmmm, I'll say the stuff that I do.
I have to disagree with Zog here. I almost always have auto push on all the time. There is so many times that it comes in handy. Getting past stubborn teammates who insist on standing around. That'll get you and your teammate killed if you do it too much. Also the fact that axis like to block doors or the stairs when you are trying to get by with docs. I don't like having an extra key to push when I am in the heat of battle running for my life. Now, if you do have it on all the time, you have to learn how to control it. Look away from teammtes when they are not blocking or standing around. If you see a medic having trouble reviving you, turn it off. Also, if you're in the ducts, stay a safe distance away so you do not push your teammtes there.
Always use auto run and when you go for the documents, make sure you are full. It is a life saver when your run sprint is almost full. You have a very good chance of getting out of the war room if there is not tons of axis in there. That brings me to my next point...
Have a grenade ready and ticking in your hands when you do make the run for the war room. About the third tick, you want to chuck it in there. That will maybe kill some axis in there and at the very least throw them away a bit, clearing a little bit of room, so you can grab the documents and sprint out of there as fast as you can.
I like to duck all the time when shooting. Yah, it has gotten me killed plenty but I have also killed a lot because I was ducking.
If you see a venom in your way, use your run and run circles around him. When his venom overheats, nail him. It's a sure fire way to beat them almost everytime.
As a medic, always have your medic packs out and ignore some axis. You do not have to kill every single axis you see. Having your packs out and throwing them when you are hurt will allow you to get away. Let your teammtes do some of the work and kill them. You are a medic, not a soldier.
Finally, if you want to be a martyr for your team because there is lots of axis in the war room, load up a grenade in your hand. Jump into the war room and just run into a cluster of axis. You'll take out a lot of them (as well as yourself) and open up some room for your teammtes to get in there and grab docs. You can even grab the docs while you are at it. Axis love to run right up to you when you have docs. For an added bonus, if you die with docs, axis also like to get the points. When the docs drop, so does your grenade. Let them pay for getting the points by getting blown up by the grenade that fell right on the documents they just had to grab.
That is basically my play style there. There is a few other things I do but those are classified information.

I hate auto-push. I just had a row with Yoda about it. He pushed me twice into enemy fire, thereby getting me killed. Personally I think it should only be allowed as a temporary thing when you activate a button. It's especially a pain in the ass around ladders or ledge jumping positions.
Sure you get to push the odd noob out of the way, or the odd enemy--but you're causing your teamates a lot of grief.
And..uh..what's the 'classified info' part hmm..? C'mon....I showed you mine.... :p

If I ever push you into danger, kick me with the message that you pushed me. hehe Seriously though, it is like I said, you just have to know how to use it. I admit that it is very annoying to get pushed into enemy fire or out of the ducts. I've had it happen to me. People who do that should not have it on. I've done the odd accidental push too but that is few and far between.
As far as the calssified tactics...well let's just say the canadian government holds those secrets. I am sure you know, as well as I do, what can happen when that information is leaked. They'll throw me into Regina forever and I don't want to live that hell.

I too have Canadian military secrets. There are basket weavers in New Guinea that would kill to know some of the knots I was taught.
You're right, Aphid. Regina ...*shudder*... is not a punishment to be taken lightly.
If you use auto-push with precision (ie turning it off when around friendlies) that's a special case. Most I know that keep it on don't give a rats ass the bedlam they cause around them. I did kick Yoda last night--though it was more for his attitude during the discussion than his blatant disregard for team-mates welfare. He's the type to walk out of the spawn with venom in hand, spitting fire randomly. Causes a mess of jostling comrades all through the trenches.

I've commisioned a government study on the Wolfensetin game tactics of a few specified individuals. Here is what I've found;
Do not use the "Shift" sprint key all the time. Only use it when you're in a fight, that way you're more than likely to be faster than your opponent.
When you run, jig side to side (without using your sprint) slightly. This makes it subtley more difficult to shoot you.
Always have a full clip ready (ikf you have enough ammo). That one or two additional rounds may be the difference).
Never go on Keek's Team, because he's a smacktard magnet and more often than not has the stupidest team-mates.
Never enter the ducts because this is ZOG's domain and you will pay for your poor decision with your life (Kneel before ZOG).
Always brush your teeth after every meal, and urinate after sex.

My favorite thing to do is /kill as soon as I get the docs or /kill whenever I'm about to die to a n00b:\ Works great

Why run to the radio? What does it prove? Just another round starts. Why not piss off the axis and only let them get 10 points intead of 20:O They don't get the kill thus they don't get 10 points for the kill, only 10 for the return. I'm pretty much speaking only if the room is full of nazis.
Sun Jun 29, 2003 1:28 am
you get 1 point for the kill, 10 for the return. thus that'd be 11 not 20 right?
I've joined a game where it was about 1 minute on the clock and allies got the docs, I shot him, killed 'em, returned docs, and threw a nade at the next guy, killed him, got 12 points, so by process of elimination of the frags I arrive at the 10 points given from the docs, the 2 extra are shared between the 2 kills yes? and the match ended before I could do anymore allied damage
but hey, I could be wrong, I could have killed 2 people with that nade and someone else shot the document holder and I returned it, sheist happens you know.

I'm not a total asshole, I just sound like one.

10 points for killing docs carrier I believe.
Crouching makes your stamina bar recharge quicker.
Make sure you have a full bar when you take the docs. Don't sprint unless there's someone around.
Hide outside the radio room door and watch the axis run out after they spawn. Then sprint for the radio stairs. Unless Edogg is on the radiostairs, chances are they'll be undefended.
If Zog is playing, always assume he is in the ducts. Throw a grenade in the first corner, AND the second.
If you're defending the ducts, move position. Start hiding at the end. Kill a few people. Then move further up. 1st corner, then 2nd corner, etc. If you're a medic lay medpacks around you.
If someone's chasing you, don't turn round to shoot them, just keep running and drop a primed grenade.
In fact, try to stay out of as many fire fights as possible. Keep running.
If Keekanoo is playing, as you climb the ladder to the Upper Base, always check behind the sandbags at the top.
If Shipwreck is playing, wait for a second or two in the trenches until the group in front of you are panzared, then keep running.
If Seether is playing, prime a grenade on the backstairs and as you get to the bottom, throw it to the front of the ducts.
If you've gone down the radiostairs unnoticed, crouch to recharge your stamina. Go to the warroom door, crouch and open it silently (caplock + f). Aim for the top of the cabinets on the other side. If they're empty, then aim for the cabinets on the right behind the door. Normally there's a panza there.
If you've come in from the ducts, and you don't have a panza, go through the duct exit on the right (behind the desk). Try not to make too much noise. Headshot people through the window.
As an axis, crouch by the wall, where the allies jump, and lob grenades straight in the air. Normally gets a couple.

Don't block team-mates fields of view. This sounds incredibly obvious, yet time and again I'll be running down a corridor and my mate in front keeps zagging in front of me--when both of us are fireing down on a running away enemy. Half my rounds go into my mates back.
Where applicable, fire in tandem with your mate. Don't both fire everything at once. This way one of you can reload while the other is still fireing suppressive fire.
Stick to the side of a corridor, stair-way, run-way etc.
Never EVER stop in mid run in the MIDDLE of a corridor, stair-way etc. Noobs do this constantly. If you REALLY want to piss off other players, do this and let EVERYONE die in a pack, half of them from their own nades they've been primeing. Traffic flow is vitally important throughout the game. Blocking in any way is a sure fire way to get kicked.
When comeing into potential hot spots blind (ie top of the stairs as ally from the trenches), I come around the corner already faceing the axis-spawn run-way. I'm already fireing. Half the time there IS an axis somewhere in front of me. Surprises the hell out of them and is a guaranteed kill.
Dante, you have some excellant points. It's scarey to see you've done an m.o. on all the players :p You, ahh...don't have post-it notes all around your computer do you?

I should do, because I always get killed in the ducts by Zog/at the top of the ladder by you/ at the corner of the trenches by Shipwreck/at the bottom of the backstairs by Seether, and those are always the most frustrating ones!
