In planning Stages of New Clan ,

Postby OSPREY » Sat Dec 28, 2002 8:01 pm

Hey guys as some of you know I decided to venture in starting a new clan. What I am especially looking for is a Director/Partner. Someone with Clan experience in organizing ,training and real talent spotting skills. This is a great oppurtunity to start something new and run it from the ground up.What I have to offer is a great game server with a super fast Dsl connection ( for hosting website/ training grounds) .

I hoping this would be a great project for one who is looking to start something of their own. I have some really great ideas to put us on the map within a respectable timetable and having good casual fun in the process.

So email me if you have any questions or inquiries on the position. Please by all means be serious in your inquiries as this job ,although casual does require some dedicated time.

Good luck in your new venture Osprey. You're a skilled player and I look forward to playing against you and your new clan in the future.

Thanks Raven , so far I got one email that does look promising.I have to admidt I started this whole idea on the wrong foot. One night Cheech was on his usual rampage and got accepted into S.S right then and there.Don't get me wrong Cheech is a player of outstanding caliber, but when I heard that's it for S.S.roster I got upset.I quess my gut reaction was to say F-it Ill start my own. Not becouse S.S. did anything wrong ,just becouse I really worked my ass off lately to get noticed and Im not like a million other guys that constantly bug top clans to be accepted.Id figure sooner or later someone might give me a ring.Starting a new clan does sound like fun and maybe it will require some more of my personal time , but the rewards can be worth it. If I am unsuccessfull in establishing a new partner than I might just as well give up on the idea. For now Ill still be plain old Osprey unless further developments present themselves.

Good point Silver , I stand corrected. I still think adding another clan to the existing family on oc48 is agreat way of promoting its great service. The idea is starting to grow on me. But thanks again for the advise.

Osprey, i think you did the rite thing. Thats not to say you would never have been grab by the top S.S. brass, but waiting sucks....You dont have to put all your time into this, S.S. isnt a serious clan, we just a group of guys that like playin together(I mainly just play with myself :D ), and I'm sure you can find guys that have the same goals as you. Good Luck dude your a top notch player, and anyone that joins your clan would have made a good choice.

osprey. i also want you to take into consideration that our clan consists of around 20 members. we try to keep it at that level. Most likely when you were playing your ass off, we were full and didnt take notice in your efforts as we normally would. when there are vacancies, we tend to fill them rather quickly.
